Cumberland Motor Inn ★★★
"Easy booking. Close to the CBD and excellent service from Reception. Highly recommended"
Cedars Mount View (Adults Only) ★★★
"We had very pleased time to stay in tree house Love it will be back soon 🥰☀️🙌🏼"
Cessnock Motel ★★★
"We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the Cessnock Motel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was clean and cosy!"
Wine Country Motor Inn ★★★★
"Don't eat their breakfast buffet. 17.50+GST pp has not much to choose from. Even don't have any egg or ham."
Hunter Valley Motel ★★★
"Quiet and relaxing after being out bush for weeks"
Peden's Hotel ★★★
"The room is average. The downstairs is fun until the middle of the night. It is cheap. It is the cheapest in the area. There are many places to eat around. It is very close to the winery, about 10 minutes away."
Potters Apartments ★★★
"Clean and receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again."
Ingenia Holidays Hunter Valley ★★★
"A very good holiday park! My family got to share a cabin, which was a decent size, bigger than the average hotel room. There were two beds, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. It was VERY comfortable. The cabin was very well cleaned and provided things like soap, toilet paper, hair and body wash, and much more! There was a playground not far from our cabin, perfect for the kids! I would highly recommend this to any guest coming to Hunter Valley."
Station Hotel Motel Kurri ★★★
"Just the right location, quiet room. All the amenities we needed. Lovely service at the bar for checking in."

Paxton Hotel
"Utterly disappointed. Living in Millfield I frequent the Paxton regularly. I joined the meat raffle for the 5th time as I never had any luck. Seems like it is on preference only - I kindly got given a voucher for a pint but no raffle number, was this to shut me up ? In addition - and I know Thursdays are very busy - a proper chef should know the difference between rare and medium well when cooking a steak. Unfortunately nothing takes me back to my once loved Paxton Hotel for a while."
Cottages on Mount View
"My husband and I took my Mom there for a midweek break and had a lovely time. The cottages really quite well spaced apart giving you ample privacy and they are well appointed. When we arrived the cottage was lovely and clean, with a basket with breakfast provisions on the table. We stayed in the cottage with the outdoor spa, and there’s a wood burner with plenty of wood provided. The hosts are really friendly and accommodating and the location is great for touring around. My only criticism is that the cottage gets quite cold overnight on winter nights, so consider bringing slippers"
Florence Cottage, 10 minutes from Hunter Valley Vineyards. Family friendly.
Hunter Valley Travellers Rest Motel
"In desperate need of a refresh and refurb, left as soon as the kids woke the next morning as felt ick. Carpet was worn, had ants crawling over the bed, fridge had excessive surface rust and a/c was spitting ice out when turned on, with no fan or windows able to be opened (during heatwave). The oddest part were the two bedside lamps with light globes that were purely decorative as there were no power points they could reach so had to use bright overhead lights to feed baby overnight. Signs in foyer suggest 5% discount if you book directly and not a third party website however was charged surcharge for using eftpos upon arriving. Price was on par with other local hotels but quality did not seem to be. Will not be returning."
