Ibis Budget Mâcon Crêches ★★
"Check-in was inconvenient. There was no one at the front desk at night. I arrived at 23:00 and waited for an hour and a half outside in 12-degree temperature. I called Ctrip customer service before I found a waiter to check in. Other guests are given a pass code when they make their reservation, which can be used to open the parking lot, hotel gate and room door. But I didn't get this code when I booked on Ctrip. Fortunately, Ctrip customer service helped me handle it seriously and efficiently. Thumbs up for this👍"
THE ORIGINALS CITY, HOTEL MACON SUD ★★★
"Not bad for the price"
Campanile Macon Sud - CHAINTRÉ ★★★
"The advantage of this hotel is that it's small and friendly, and all the rooms face the parking lot. They are comfortable (good bedding) with a few thoughtful touches (tea and coffee). This is still minimal service, but still very good value for money. The location is near a busy road in a nearby shopping area, and at the gateway to Macon. It straddles the city and all the surrounding small wine-growing villages, and is also at the gateway to Beaujolais, making it easily accessible from both sides. Friendly and professional reception staff. Dining options are available on site. Pleasant and friendly hotel, easy to access."
Logis Hôtel & Bien Être Château de La Barge ★★★
"The hotel was poorly recommended. The rooms were spacious but smelled musty and old. The overall cleanliness was quite poor, with cobwebs in rooms 106 and 303. The breakfast was absolutely subpar for the €16 requested. The restaurant was closed on the evening of arrival. Highly not recommended."
