Unique gem, Geodesic Dome cabin on 3 acres, nestled in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Wildwoods Cabin will be the perfect stay for your vacation! Wildwoods has the feel of being secluded however the Mickelson Trail (non motorized trail) runs just below the property for easy access to hiking, biking & skiing. It is the perfect place to get away from it all & back in touch with nature. Enjoy the deck, with wildlife traveling thru the property. Mickelson trail goes right thru property. So cabin is less than 1/10th of a mile (right next to trail) from the trail. This is a peaceful location enjoyed by many so PLEASE NO MOTORIZED OFF ROAD VEHICLES (atv's, side by sides etc)....Thank you for your understanding). No campers, RV’s or tents allowed without prior permission and additional charge. Final note: While a car can get to the cabin we would recommend AWD or 4WD to cover all weather and road conditions. We do have a lower parking area if needed just below the cabin. Re: motorcycles…..it total depends on you comfort level riding….. Some are totally fine with gravel road leading to our driveway and also fine with driveway and some don’t like gravel and hills. We do have a lower parking area for motorcycles, and then it’s a very short hike to the cabin. If you have questions, please reach out and I can explain more.
