Welcome to Creekside, our little cabin is a veteran owned tiny retreat in Forksville, PA that caters to families, fishing enthusiasts or anyone wanting to get out in nature and away from the hustle of everyday life. With creek access and mountain views, you can fish and swim right here on our property. There are also many hiking trailheads in the area that include short easier trails for the kids or the longer more strenuous trails for that avid hiker. Located on Route 87 it is within close proximity to two state parks, World's End and Ricketts Glen and the Loyalsock State Forest is nearby as well. Sullivan County is a beautiful area located conveniently near the towns of Dushore, LaPorte, Eagles Mere, and Williamsport. Bring the whole family to enjoy what nature has to offer! At 900 square feet, 7-foot ceilings, and an open concept living, dining, and kitchen area: family and friends will be sure to enjoy each other's company. The cabin features three bedrooms and a full bath with washer and dryer for guest use. You may encounter wildlife as we've seen bear, deer, fox, turkey, and bald eagles. The perfect basecamp for your Rickett's Glen adventure. Located just 7 miles from the famous waterfall trails, our cabin sits on a quiet, secluded acre.Inside, you will find 1,200sq.ft. of cozy, open-concept living- complete with a propane fireplace for chilly nights and a 'Game Corner' to keep the kids entertained. After a long day of hiking the 21 waterfalls, rinse off in the outdoor shower and head to the firepit. We're pet friendly!Cozy 1200 sq ft single floor living space that is open and relaxing with a propane fire place and game area. 2 Private bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and living space. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, dresser, and closet.Bedroom #2 has a bunk bed featuring a single and a full. Living space has a recliner, couch, and a futon that can be used as a sleeping spot. Game corner features books, chalk board, board games, tic tac toe, basketball, and a fooseball table Full size kitchen with propane stove and refrigerator. Washer and dryer in the bathroom. A grill and outdoor firepit in the back yard provided for additional cooking options and will make great memories around the fire. Large deck with family seating options.Outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at Lake Jean.This is a cabin in the woods. You may experience deer, bear, turkeys, and other animals on the property. You also may see mice, spiders, or bugs as you are on a property in the woods. We recently have added a water cooler with fresh water for drinking. We have well water along with a house filtration system but some guests prefer to bring water to drink rather than the tap water. Please don’t hunt on the property. Thank youWe have bundles of fire wood available for sale. You are welcome to bring your own or use fallen limbs on the property, just please don’t cut down trees.
