"The hotel area is very green and beautiful! What I was looking for in Mauritius, but didn’t find in another hotel! "The resort is very nice, the location is perfect. However, when we first arrived the water wasn't working. It was then fixed but it looks a yellowy colour. Insect repellent doesnt seem to be working in the room ( its a plug in one) the lady sprayed the room on day one which worked but apparantly they have run out of it. We had an early start and the breakfast in the lounge was our only option, the bread/ croissant were roxk hard and dry. Other then that the usual breakfast is ok. I would recommend getting the edge water reservation for dinner the good is better then the Mercardo. We got half board but the catch is that ypu have to pay for drinks and water, which you obviously can't eat the food without, we came for are honeymoon and expected it to be included not having to pay extra for drinks. Lastly we found a waiter who was amazing and has sorted us out this trip, his name is Muzammal, he has literally made it amazing at the outrigger!"
