Metropark Hotel Changchun

This hotel is grand and boasts an excellent location, right across from Shengli Park and within walking distance to the subway. The service is also very attentive; the cleaning lady was thoughtful, and the front desk girl was easygoing. They even upgraded me to a king-size room when I extended my stay. I'm very satisfied with such a hotel for just over 100 RMB. The breakfast is abundant, costing 28 per person, with many dishes and good taste. The only downside is that it's by the road, so it can be a bit noisy at night. If your room faces the road, you'll need to close the windows to sleep. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Changchun.

The room was very comfortable, and the sleeping environment was quiet. The hotel offers a rich and healthy breakfast, not greasy, available from 7 AM to 9:30 AM. It was a great stay experience.

This is a very old hotel, the wooden doors are practically falling apart. It's an old-school grand hotel, and the service and food are decent, but the facilities definitely need an upgrade. There's a strange smell in the room, I can't tell if it's mold or cigarette smoke.

The room was spacious and the environment was great. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. (A special shout-out to Xiao Lin, Xiao Sun, and the unnamed lobby staff who kindly brought my takeaway up to the eighth floor, as I wasn't aware at the time that deliveries weren't allowed upstairs.) I had a very satisfying stay.

This hotel boasts a prime downtown location and an executive ambiance. It's well-equipped with amenities, even offering a small safe and mini-fridge (though neither was active, and I doubt many people use them anyway). However, the downside is that the facilities are quite dated, giving off a 2000s dreamcore vibe. When I asked the front desk for common items like dental floss, they weren't available, which new hotels usually provide. It feels a bit behind the times. You can tell it was once quite grand, much like the city of Changchun itself.

The location is definitely the biggest advantage, making transportation incredibly convenient. It's an old state-run hotel, so it generally feels quite traditional and a bit dated, like stepping back ten years. The facilities are a bit old; there was a leak in the shower, and not many power outlets, but it met most basic needs. The breakfast was good; while not as refined as new chain hotels, the dishes were distinctive. The service attitude was excellent, especially Chengcheng from concierge and the intern at the front desk, both deserve praise. I'd suggest putting a power strip behind the nightstand, otherwise, the most conveniently located outlet gets blocked and becomes unusable, which is really inconvenient for charging phones.

When visiting Changchun, this hotel's location is excellent. It has parking, and across the street is Victory Park, which has a subway station right at its entrance. The room was clean and spacious, making for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also very generous.

The room was very clean. I've always liked Metropark; it's an older hotel, but very well-maintained, and the price was excellent. With my Trip.com membership and a hotel discount, the price was unexpectedly good. The hotel has parking, which is great for self-drivers. Victory Park is right across the street, so you can even take a stroll in the evening. I'm very satisfied.

Great location, excellent service, convenient transportation, and good value for money.
