The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering a beautiful environment and quiet nights, truly giving off a Western European guesthouse vibe. The owner is very welcoming, the food is delicious, and the chicken soup is absolutely fantastic!

The two of us who stayed at this homestay/hotel are in complete agreement that there are only great things to be said about it. I wanted a private space to drink tea and smoke ciggies, so I picked a room with a terrace. Upon arrival, the owner kindly upgraded us to another room that he said had a better view from the terrace. I’m not certain which room it was that we ended up in, but the view was incredible and the terrace was massive. We spent hours drinking tea and watching the clouds drift and the bamboo sway. The food was delicious! We particularly liked the “soft beef” something, which was actually a mushroom dish, and the pork belly with bamboo shoots. The light soup and pickles served during breakfast were also noteworthy. The kitchen staff were super friendly, and I got the impression that they are treated well. I enjoyed this homestay infinitely more than any luxury hotel I’ve stayed at.

Honestly this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! So peaceful and lovely, nestled in amongst the towering bamboo. The owner is one of the nicest people I have met in China! He really cares about his guests. The staff is friendly, and the room was amazing with a view and the coziest outdoor area to take a peaceful nap. It was also easy to get around the scenic area, as well. Thank you for such a beautiful stay!

The room size was average, considered good for a guesthouse, and the cleanliness was excellent. The external environment exceeded my expectations, surrounded by bamboo forest, with a bathtub and an infinity pool; the water was very clean! The breakfast at the guesthouse was good, 10 yuan per person, and the noodle soup was quite flavorful! The owner and staff were very friendly, and they even gave me a small gift when I left. I would definitely stay here again next time and would recommend it to my friends!

Hotels and guesthouses within the scenic area are relatively easy to find, although the parking lot is a bit small. The owner is nice and will proactively help with luggage! Breakfast is too simple, but the à la carte dishes taste good, all related to bamboo. Overall, a great experience! Their house is located halfway up the mountain, very close by bus from the west gate. The bus stop at the entrance requires a short wait, but you can flag it down. Driving is recommended for more freedom. The rooms are very clean, and the owner and grandma's fried rice is especially delicious. We stayed in a room with a super large balcony and a fantastic view, surrounded by lush bamboo. This place is perfect for quiet tea drinking, meditation, and relaxation.
