This hotel is a bit out of the way, but that is more than made up for by the excellent customer service and super friendly staff. I was one of very few westerners there, but I felt right at home because of the staff and management. The buffet is a traditional Chinese breakfast and excellent.

The hotel is located in a remote area. If there were no exhibitions, it would be like the suburbs. The hotel facilities, especially the carpets, are old. There is a bit of smell in the room, like a mixed smell of cigarettes. There are very few toiletries in the hotel, and you need to buy them yourself at the store downstairs (razor, soap). It was very cold in Changsha for two days on weekends, and the temperature of the air conditioner could not go up. I called the front desk and said that the air conditioner was not turned on. After the air conditioner was turned on, the highest temperature in the room was only 22°C.
