Changsha Chenxi Garden Hotel Apartment (Wuyi Square No.1 Mansion)

This is a truly excellent guesthouse! I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. The housekeeper was very enthusiastic, and the cleaning staff were friendly. The room facilities were complete, the view from the window was fantastic, and the room environment was great with good soundproofing. The bathroom had a built-in washing machine, there was a refrigerator, plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning worked very well. It's right next to IFS and very close to the subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The price was great, offering good value for money. They even offer free luggage storage when you check out. Next time I'm in Changsha, I'll definitely choose to stay here at Wuyi Square IFS.

The room was impeccably clean, and the location was excellent with extremely convenient access to transportation. Being on a high floor, it offered a fantastic view. The room had a sensible layout, featuring large floor-to-ceiling windows and a very spacious bed. It's an apartment-style hotel with four elevators. The double-glazed windows provided superb soundproofing, ensuring a truly quiet night's sleep. We brought our children, and the host was incredibly thoughtful, even preparing special low pillows for kids traveling during the summer holidays. The front desk service was outstanding. Highly recommended!

Facilities: Quite well-equipped, featuring a fridge, washing machine, and microwave. Cleanliness: Average, with room for improvement in the details. Location: Good. The subway station and Wuyi Square are nearby, making it very convenient for getting around.

This was hands down the worst hotel I've ever stayed at during a trip; I believe the room number was 0920. After checking in, a front desk staff member escorted us to our room, only to then proceed to clean the toilet right there, claiming it hadn't been properly cleaned earlier. My doubts began to surface immediately; I'd never encountered anything like it before. The TV buttons were unresponsive, and even at the lowest volume, it was so noisy that my child couldn't watch it. The shower stall was incredibly tiny, barely big enough to turn around. There was no conditioner, and the showerhead was broken, taped together. A note was even posted stating that hot water wasn't available for extended periods and that two people couldn't shower consecutively, requiring a long wait between uses. There was a large bottle of makeup remover on the table, which I initially thought was provided by the hotel. However, considering there was no conditioner or even disposable slippers, it's abundantly clear it was left behind by a previous guest and hadn't been cleaned away. The gargle cup still had noticeable toothpaste residue (I only noticed this the next morning – I was infuriated!). My child then called me over to point out a small blood stain on the duvet. Shortly after we checked in, the room door suddenly swung open. A cleaner poked her head in, saw us, and then remarked that she couldn't remember if the room had been cleaned or not. I wanted to go complain to the front desk right away, but my husband distracted me, and we ended up going downstairs to explore. Downstairs was a bustling street food market. Already exhausted from our travels, after lying down at night, all we could hear were the constant clanging of woks and the sounds of stir-frying (fried rice and noodles). We couldn't get any sleep at all. The next day, we woke up at 6 AM and immediately checked out to find another hotel. In summary, the hygiene was terrible, the service was poor, and the facilities were substandard. Avoid, avoid, avoid! I didn't even bother taking photos as evidence because my mood was already ruined, and I didn't want to taint my phone with such unpleasant memories. Plus, the front desk isn't 24/7, so if you have a problem, there's no one available to assist you!

The hotel is ideally located right next to the International Finance Centre (IFC). We drove here for a day trip, and there was ample parking available downstairs. The surrounding area is pleasant, with a green park nearby. The room was incredibly spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. As a family of three, twin rooms were fully booked for the day, so we opted for a room with a 1.8-meter king-size bed to make do for the night. During check-in, the front desk kindly found us a room with a spacious sofa and provided us with extra pillows and towels. The 1.8m bed was comfortable enough for the three of us. When we requested a late check-out around noon, the front desk staff graciously extended it until 1 PM. Highly recommended, it's definitely worth a stay!
