Changsha North Star International Hotel Reviews

On August 28, 2026, I came to record Mango Night and stayed in the same hotel as the Times Youth Group. The scenery is great; you get a different view with sunrises, sunsets, cloudy days, and rainy days. The location is excellent, close to everything. Downstairs, just a 3-5 minute walk, there are delicious late-night snacks (open until 2 AM) and a street full of various food stalls and a food court. There are also many delivery options. It's super close to the subway station, with a hair salon and makeup studio downstairs. The cleaning staff always greeted me proactively, and the doormen were very warm and attentive. When I checked out, I left my dress and shawl behind, and they called me right away. I was still in the lobby, so they brought them down quickly. It was a really good stay!

Very satisfied with our stay! We arrived early, and luckily the hotel had a room available, so they checked us in before 12 PM. Xiao Jin even upgraded us to a river view room, which was a lovely surprise. The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. We went swimming daily and needed extra towels, and housekeeping always delivered them quickly.

Our family of four (two adults, two children) stayed at the Changsha North Star International Hotel from August 22nd to 23rd. It's no wonder so many celebrities choose this hotel when they visit Changsha – our overall experience was incredibly pleasant! 👍 The room was spacious and tidy, with enough room for the whole family to move around. The bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring the kids slept soundly. The location is superb, close to the Beichen Delta Metro Station, and within walking distance of Joy City and the 'Three Halls and One Gallery' complex, making it convenient for dining, taking the kids out, and getting around. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including many kid-friendly choices. The heated swimming pool has a dedicated children's area, which the kids absolutely loved. Service response was prompt, and the robot delivery for room service was a convenient touch. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, and the river view is outstanding. Highly recommended for families traveling with children – we'll definitely prioritize staying here again on our next trip to Changsha!

Exceeded expectations! It's quiet, very clean, and the view is excellent. The bedding is comfortable too. Suitable for all ages, including 'kidults.' It feels very cozy, and the location is great, right next to a big mall.

This is a great hotel! It's super convenient for getting around, with the subway just a few hundred meters away. The location is excellent too, right by the Xiangjiang River – I highly recommend checking out the night view. Changsha Library and Museum are just across the road. The breakfast is varied and there are plenty of food options nearby, so finding a place to eat is never an issue.

Had a great experience! Xiao Zeng even upgraded our room, and the view was beautiful. My child had a blast swimming in the pool. We'll definitely come back if we get the chance.

I brought my family to Changsha for the summer vacation. The hotel is quite close to the Changsha Museum, Library, and Concert Hall complex, and there's a large shopping mall nearby. The breakfast was also pretty good. We booked a river view room, and while the price wasn't cheap, there were quite a few shortcomings in the service. 1. There's road construction around the hotel, making access inconvenient. The roads are single-lane, and there are many electric scooter riders. 2. The hotel surprisingly doesn't have charging stations, which isn't very friendly for electric vehicles. You have to go to the Museum complex to charge. 3. There are only two parking spaces on the first floor of the hotel; you have to park in the underground garage. It's a bit of a walk from the parking space to the hotel elevator, and you even need to transfer elevators to get to your room. 4. The hotel staff's service attitude was mediocre. For a supposedly five-star hotel, the room didn't have a bathtub, and we had to remind them to provide the complimentary 'Chayan' drinks. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel amenities are excellent, and there's a large shopping mall nearby for convenient shopping and dining. Changsha Museum is right in front of the hotel. It's also just a few minutes' walk to Metro Line 1. The breakfast selection is rich, and the hygiene and front desk service are top-notch!

Fantastic review, a truly wonderful experience! Ella was an excellent host, reaching out to me on WeChat a day in advance. She was incredibly responsive and accommodating, even upgrading us to a high-floor river view room without us asking. The view was absolutely stunning, and the soundproofing was excellent, making for a quiet stay. The room itself was spotlessly clean, large, and spacious. They even provided two days of breakfast for our two children, and the breakfast spread was incredibly rich and varied. The pool was also a great bonus! Any small issues we encountered during check-in were immediately resolved. The service attitude was top-notch. I will definitely choose Beichen again next time!

It was pretty good. The service at Guohui is excellent, and it's convenient for celebrity spotting. Plus, they gave us welcome fruit! When we ran out of bottled water, a quick call had more delivered right away. By the way, I think the thin noodles in Changsha are tastier.

Both the interior and exterior of the hotel are excellent. The front desk kindly upgraded me to a river view room for free, which offered a fantastic view. The river during the day and the light show at night were both exceptionally beautiful. The room was clean and hygienic, and the bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff did a thorough job every day and even helped organize my clothes, leaving a thoughtful note afterwards. The service was truly attentive. Breakfast offered a good variety and tasted fine. An added bonus was spotting a celebrity at the hotel! I stayed for many days and was thoroughly satisfied.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the subway. The facilities are brand new and well-equipped; I honestly can't find anything to complain about unless you're incredibly picky. The views from the window, both day and night, are delightful, and of course, the higher the floor, the better the view. The staff are all very friendly and proactive; they even had all our check-in details ready before we arrived. The restaurant is very comfortable, and the breakfast spread is quite ample and varied, suitable for all ages. I'd definitely recommend this place for future visits or to friends coming to Changsha. Pretty good! The room was nice, the bed was large, and the breakfast had a good variety. The view was also great. I'd stay here again on my next visit.
