Grand Hyatt Changsha

We stayed two nights at the Grand Hyatt Changsha in a spacious deluxe king room with a sofa bed on Level 57, offering half river view and half city view. Unfortunately, the weather was foggy during our stay, so the scenery was hidden. The location is fantastic — Hisense Plaza (with Wenheyou) is right next door, and popular attractions like Wuyi Square, Pozi Street, and Du Fu Pavilion are all within a few minutes’ walk. Front desk service could have been more responsive when I tried to book an extra room for my sister on the first day. The front desk staff told me that the walk-in rate would only be available between 9–10am the next day. She took down my phone number and promised to call me back, but I didn’t receive the call until after 2pm the next day. Luckily I had reserved online in advance.  The true highlight was the housekeeping team — always smiling,warm, attentive, and thoughtful. They prepared children’s slippers and a toothbrush for my child, provided extra bottled water without being asked, and even left us a handwritten note saying they had discarded our unfinished cold tea and coffee and cleaned the cups for safe use. These small touches made our stay very comfortable and memorable, despite the foggy weather.

This is my first trip visiting this wonderful city of Changsha which is full of energy. We stayed at one of the best location near the river bank of 湘江. The hotel is within a short walk to 玻子街, IFS and 51 Square. The room has an excellent view from 56/F over looking the river with great amenities and friendly staff. Service is excellent and hotel staff are all very helpful. On our last day we had lunch on 3/F having our last 湘菜 for lunch. Food quality is high as well as services from the restaurant staff. We fully enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Changsha. When we come back next time for holidays, we would be pleased to book our accomodation at the Hyatt again.

Everything was top notched in this hotel ! Check in was a breeze and the lift took us to 57 storey! High unblock river view was breathtaking, the bed was comfortable and has extra sofa at window side. Layout is good and spacious with dedicated attention to details. Called reception for extra water and within minutes it came. Breakfast spread has variety of choices but we had little time left as the waitress told us it closes at 10am. Best thing, it is situated very near walking street and Hai Xin Guang Chang. Highly recommended although price is steep, but will return someday. Hopefully Grand Hyatt will drop its prices..

Our stay in Grand Hyatt Changsha was exceptional. The room was really spacious and much better than what it looks like in the photos. In the reception the lady spoke fluent english and was really welcoming. You could even order extra complimentary water from a robot straight to the room. Cannot say anything bad about the hotel, 10/10.

非常的nice，整体的服务is pretty good and we had a really good trip in Changsha, will go again.

Excellent location, scrumptious Christmas dinner, pristine room, big gym and sauna. A memorable stay.
