Sheraton Changzhou Wujin Hotel

The musty smell in the room is so strong! There were so many people at breakfast. I finally found a seat but was snatched away by an aunt before I could sit down. Twice in a row... 🤣 There were not many types of breakfast. I ate two buns, a cup of coffee, a banana 🍌, and others. The fruit is as shown in the picture (it looks very stale and I dare not eat it for fear of diarrhea). In the past two years, it is obvious that the overall service level of the hotel industry has declined seriously. There are many service staff and it feels like they are all temporary. There is always someone watching you while you are having breakfast, waiting to take your plate at any time 😂.

I took my children to travel to Changzhou during the National Day. In order to make it easier to go to Yancheng Zoo the next day, I chose Wujin Sheraton. Ava, the hotel housekeeper, called me a day in advance about my needs and thoughtfully upgraded me to the executive floor. Knowing that I was going to the zoo, she asked the kitchen to help prepare carrots for the animals and sent me a lot of travel guides. The hotel facilities are pretty good, including a Dyson hair dryer and capsule coffee. The breakfast buffet is also rich, and the price/performance ratio is acceptable. I hope to meet such a considerate hotel housekeeper as Ava next time I stay.

The housekeeper AMY called in advance to understand our needs. She was very considerate and prepared small gifts for the children. We stayed in a glacier-themed room. The room was clean and very large. The children loved it. It was a fun room with submarines and polar bears. The little boys liked it. The hotel was very grand and very beautiful when lit up at night. When we went to Yancheng Wildlife Park the next day, the housekeeper AMY prepared carrots for us to feed the small animals, which was very considerate.

I originally wanted to go to Yancheng Zoo for convenience, but saw that Sheraton had a hotel ticket package. The result was unexpectedly good. Not only did I get a room upgrade for free with two kids, but I also received figures and thoughtful carrots (20 yuan per zoo) as a gift before leaving. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the zoo. There are also many parent-child activities during the holidays. Unfortunately, I was too busy to participate in them. By the way, there will be a special children's toiletry set for children. Nice, feels like great value.

I was really satisfied with my stay. The hotel staff were very enthusiastic. The housekeeper Zoe was very considerate. She contacted me in advance and cared about the stay experience throughout the whole process. I will definitely choose this hotel next time I come to Changzhou.
