Jinjiang Inn (Changzhou Railway Station Qingguo Lane Store)

The room was a bit small, not huge, but perfectly adequate. Communicating with the front desk was a bit challenging; it took many phone calls to arrange a few-hour stay just to shower before catching my high-speed train. The bed was comfortable, and the floor was clean.

The room was spotless. The surrounding area is pretty standard, but Changzhou Yinsi Noodle Restaurant is just a short walk away. Tianning Temple is directly opposite, and it's a quick stroll from there to Hongmei Park. Parking was convenient since we were driving. Overall, good value for money.

The room was quite spacious, with a queen and a twin bed, and a window. The hygiene was also pretty good. The main highlight is its convenience; it's only three stops from Changzhou Station and right next to key attractions like Tianning Temple, Hongmei Park, and Qingguo Alley, making it perfect for backpackers. The breakfast was decent too, and the price was fair and reasonable.

I was traveling solo and looking for convenience, but the hotel hosts many budget tour groups. One group checked out at 4 AM, and they were openly talking, showering, and packing their luggage with their doors open, waking me up in the middle of the night. It was a really bad experience. The hotel apologized and handled the situation the next day, and I understand that tour groups' behavior isn't something the hotel can fully control. However, the fact remains that I didn't get a good night's sleep. I guess when traveling alone, you shouldn't just look for convenience or cheap prices; it's better to book a slightly more expensive hotel to avoid the kind of crowd you don't want to encounter.

Given the price, my expectations weren't high... The bathroom doorknob was broken, so you had to really push and pull to open it. Honestly, it was the worst hotel I stayed in during my week-long trip, but the low price is definitely a plus. The mattress was comfortable enough, but the soundproofing wasn't great.
