Atour Properties in Chaozhou

After comparing a few options, I decided on this hotel and was quite satisfied with my stay. It was clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very friendly. The room was a good size, and the bedding was comfortable. The front desk even gave me recommendations for nearby attractions, and the hotel itself isn't far from them.

This is a newly opened hotel, so naturally, the hygiene, facilities, and environment are all top-notch. It's less than 2 kilometers from the ancient city, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The staff were very accommodating, helping me heat up food and arranging a late check-out. A really great experience overall!

The young gentleman and lady at the front desk were both very welcoming. They even thoughtfully offered complimentary breakfast because we had to switch rooms! The room was spacious, as were the walk-in closet and shower. The bedding was very clean, which made for a great night's sleep, haha! I was so excited that I forgot to take more pictures of the room. 😁

We stayed at Atour Hotel in Chenghai for 3 nights and had a very comfortable stay. We booked the Superior Queen Room which was very spacious and well-lit. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was very big and the water pressure was great. The hotel has a gym and laundry room open 24 hours. The gym has some weights, a treadmill, and a bike. The laundry room has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers. As a bonus, the TV in your room tells you how many washers and dryers are available so you can plan to do your laundry accordingly. The lobby has a small library. The location was easy to find and a short drive to places to shop or eat in Chenghai. There are some restaurants within walking distance too.

Chain hotels are always the most reassuring. The facilities, service, and staff quality all exceeded expectations. I'm used to drinking ice water and cold beverages, but there was no fridge in the room. I asked a staff member if there were any rooms with a fridge, but they were all booked. So, the staff member simply brought a mini-fridge to my room. I was so touched! There's also a laundry room on the 9th floor, which is super convenient.

This trip was a romantic getaway to Shantou with my partner. We always stay at Atour hotels because we have high standards for accommodations – we need a quiet, clean, and undisturbed environment, and not too close to the city center. This Atour really met our needs. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly; they added me on WeChat before we even arrived and made sure our buckwheat pillows were in the room. They also enthusiastically recommended local Shantou delicacies. I also have to commend the cleaning lady on the 13th floor – she was so diligent! She cleaned up after our takeout meal perfectly, and her attitude was lovely and gentle. She just exuded a sense of cleanliness, if you know what I mean. As someone from Northeast China visiting Shantou, I highly recommend hotels with such kind and gentle service staff. Oh, and the bed we slept on was quite large, it almost felt like a long-distance relationship, haha! The air conditioning was also super powerful, so remember to turn it off before you sleep, otherwise, it gets surprisingly cold.

When I'm out, I often struggle to find a hotel I really like, but choosing Atour is always a safe bet. The facilities are super convenient, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. This time, they even gave me a lovely fridge magnet when I checked out. My satisfaction is definitely way up!
