Chaozhou Nanyi Hotel

If you're visiting Chaozhou Ancient City with older children, I highly recommend this hotel. Its location is fantastic, directly opposite the Paifang Street exit of the ancient city, and right next to the South Gate Ancient Night Market. There are tons of great food options all around. They even have electric scooters available at the entrance, which are super convenient for getting around, except for the very center of the ancient city where you can't ride them. The Deluxe One-Plus-One Family Room was so much more spacious than the special offer family room we had the night before. It had an incredibly large and comfortable living room. Plus, the front desk arranged for it to be directly opposite our previous room, so we just had to move our things over at noon – super convenient! Both rooms had separate private bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. I slept really well. **Cleanliness:** Excellent. **Service:** The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Phoenix Dan Cong tea they gave us was delicious!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right opposite Paifang Street Pedestrian Street, and next to the night market and a local food market. We bought seafood at the market, and it was incredibly fresh and very reasonably priced! There are so many amazing food options nearby, you'll never run out of things to try!

The location is fantastic, right across from Paifang Street. We booked a triple room, which was very clean. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and it was great that all the dishes were ready by 7 AM when it started.

This hotel is right inside Chaozhou Ancient City. Even though we were out early and back late every day sightseeing, getting to and from the hotel was super convenient and we never felt tired. The hotel is quite large, and the breakfast was good too. The kids really enjoyed it.

The overall experience at Chaozhou Nanyi Hotel was superb, I genuinely recommend it! The rooms are fully equipped with excellent facilities, making for a very comfortable stay. The service was also attentive and thoughtful; truly, there's nothing to fault. The only minor drawback was that the room lighting was a bit dim, but this didn't affect the overall experience at all. It offers great value for money, definitely worth choosing if you're coming to Chaozhou~

The hotel's location is super convenient for getting taxis, right opposite Paifang Street. The front desk staff were excellent, patient, attentive, and very professional. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise – a wide variety of delicious options. They even offer a complimentary afternoon tea, which is a lovely touch for relaxing and enjoying some snacks. The second floor has a really nice ambiance, making for a very comfortable experience. The only downside was the guest room. The soundproofing was poor, probably because it was near the corridor. Also, the bathroom is at the very back, and after showering, the room felt a bit stuffy. The air conditioning only had cool and heat settings, no ventilation, which made it uncomfortably stuffy in the middle of the night.
