Homeinn Selected Hotel (Chaozhou Ancient City Paifang Street)

The location is fantastic, with plenty of dining options nearby, and it's a short walk to Kaiyuan Temple and Xima Road. If you don't look too closely, the room cleaning is acceptable, but there are some old, stubborn stains. The hallway carpet really needs a good cleaning; it's extremely dirty. The hotel's overall structure is quite compact, and the rooms aren't very spacious, but they're adequate. The soundproofing is average, so light sleepers might need earplugs. Overall, for an off-peak rate of around 200 yuan per night, the value for money is decent.

The hotel staff had a great attitude, and the front desk even did my laundry, which was a nice touch.

The hotel also offers self-service laundry, adding to the convenience for guests. My only suggestion would be to ensure food items are continually replenished during later breakfast hours to further enhance the overall experience. All in all, this is a reassuring and trustworthy hotel that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Hometel Chaozhou Ancient City Store is amazing! It's within walking distance to Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge, and it's super quiet despite being in a lively area. The room was clean and tidy, the front desk staff were really enthusiastic and even gave us a travel guide. There are tons of great food options nearby, and it offers excellent value for money!
