Great place to eat, drink & stay! We were attending a music event at Peak Cavern just a 10 min walk away. Lovely friendly staff & our food was great too. Definitely recommend the Peak Hotel 10/10 with the added bonus of a car park just over the road.

Lovely country pub/hotel. Friendly atmosphere & great food. Front of house staff are excellent. Has its own carpark & you get a refund, if you spend over £10. We went there, as it was a central point to meet up. First time going for my friends & they loved it & said let’s come here again. Thursday is the quiz night but we sat in the restaurant just out of the way.

Great place ,nice drinks and pub quiz . Great drinks, great staff, but if you're doing the Thursday night quiz, don't forget your phone because everyone else googles the questions in the toilets, outside or at the bar . We couldn't believe there could be so many cheats for a quiz night. The quiz guy knew about it but did nothing . Lost a bit of it's magic for us as visitors. But still a nice pub in a great village

Popped in on the off chance of getting a table on a Saturday tea time. A table was found and quickly ordered our meal. Home made beef and onion pie with chips &peas and beef stew with dumplings. Both meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Would definitely come again.

I'm not sure about rooms, because we went just for a dinner, but was fantastic climate inside, everybody was nice and helpful, also burgers with chips and salad was delicious We would stay there overnight next time! We spend there really nice time! Good job! :)

We had a large work event booked in Castleton and needed a place which could cater for around 25 of us. They were so accommodating and very helpful in arranging our booking, we pre-ordered food which was efficiently served to us. The food was great and we all had a lovely evening sitting in the restaurant. Thanks to all of you at The Peak Hotel!

4 of us stayed for 2 nights , from our arrival to departure the staff were so friendly and helpful , spotlessly clean room , 4 poster bed , walk in shower , what more could you ask for .The food was delicious , plenty of beers to choose from , all served by excellent staff .Thank you , we will definitely return

My partner and myself called in for a later lunch Saturday the 20th of april 2024,the place was packed out,people having meals or just having drinks,we were greeted by a young lady who looked after us during our meal,she was so helpful and pleasant and the food was amazing , I'd like to pass on my gratitude for making us feel very welcome .

Great old pub in Castleton village..came in for lunch when the 'Ye Old Cheshire Cheese' next door was only doing sandwiches and pizza...good selection of food and ale.. dogs welcome..great atmosphere and a very welcome break from a muddy walk along the derwent.
