Good location but average hotel. Not much service. Breakfast gets worse every year and is pretty shabby now. Didn't even have meat this time. At one time would make omelets but now just scrambled eggs cooked in a serving pan. Used to have fresh fruit including berries, melon, pineapple. At one time even had smoothies. Now only bananas and red delicious apples which they no longer leave out after breakfast. No cups in coffee area after breakfast. Cleanness is ok. Hand sanitizer dispenser on my floor was empty. Had stand for wipes in lobby but was empty. Had to take a corner king as only available room and definitely not worth cost. Poorly laid out. Sofa bed not comfortable and no pillows. Night stand broken. Nice kitchen with dishwasher but no dishes or utensils.

The Siena is a beautiful hotel with very well trained staff. Everyone we encountered looked us in the eye, engaged in conversation and were very respectful! We were there for a night and were upgraded (we are Titanium members) to a Junior Studio Suite, which was lovely. It was an amazing late February day and the ability to open the french doors to the Juliet balconies was really nice. Breakfast at Il Palio was wonderful and once again, the staff was amazing. The grounds were beautiful, but not as grand as some of the hotel photographs seem to indicate. A great hotel in a fun town!

The hotel is the conference center of the North Carolina State University Chapel Hill Business School. The lobby is on the second floor and breakfast is on the first floor. Free breakfast, orange juice and coffee were great, the waiter took the initiative and asked how many times there was any need. There is an outdoor swimming pool and it is beautiful. There is a self-service laundry room and a business center, as well as self-cooked soft drinks with popcorn and three types of ice cream. There are walking trails around, and the environment is very good. Within ten minutes by car from the university's main campus. This business school is located in a high-end residential area, near Harris Teeter supermarket and fresh taro.

The hotel is newly renovated. The lounge is nice and clean. This hotel has great potential, but it could use some improvements in the guest experience aspect. Let me explain. During check in, we had a room with lounge access. It would save a phone call if the check in staff would make us aware of the lounge location and hours. We had to call to find out. Upon entering our room, we discovered that the AC was not working in the living room and there was an opened bottle of water in the bedroom. We call the front desk and engineer fixed it while we left our room. Thumbs up to the GM for including actual one bed room suites for SNA requests. I have seen too many properties that only offers junior suites or bigger rooms as options. I also want to mention that Erica was super friendly. She greeted us every time we interacted. Despite the issues, which I believe could definitely be fixed with more communication, this was a wonderful stay.

We stayed for over a week, and overall I was happy. Had everything I needed in a one bedroom suite, and the location was great (close to Duke Hospital, which was the purpose of our stay). A beautiful facility and grounds with nice walking trails nearby. My only complaints were the walls were paper thin so we could hear one neighbor snoring and the other neighbor talking loudly, and also the mattresses were sagging and need an upgrade. However, I would stay again.

When I entered the lobby I was a little concerned because it is very small and I didn't see anyone working the desk. Our room was very clean, the furniture was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. You have to request the heat be turned on if it is winter. They have a lot of folks who are being treated at UNC hospital and they don't turn the heat on before you arrive unless you request it. We have stayed three times and have recommended (and will continue to recommend) this hotel. It definitely meets my expectations for a Holiday Inn Express.

First time here and we shall return. It's outstanding: very large rooms, massive fitness center with free weights, free washers and dryers (4 of each), spotless hallways and grounds and a breakfast that will have you telling your fellow travelers not to miss: fresh walnuts and pecans... Chobani yogurts... scrambled eggs/egg pockets... sausage or bacon... really good bagels and various breads... fresh blueberries/strawberries/bananas... and coffee in the lobby well before the start of breakfast. Special thanks to Veronica on the front desk for honoring our IHG Diamond status with a fabulous room that included windows that open for a breeze with screens. And here's one you don't get too often: speedy elevators! A very good show, GM Mario!

YYuanShaominThe room was neat and clean and the front desk was polite. Very close to UNC, a great place to send the baby.
But no breakfast and laundry room. AC noise is a bit loud.
GGuest UserEveryone was very professional even when I called before checking in they could smile more and act happy to see you in person. Nice establishment. Bed very comfy, bath very nice, room very quiet neighbors, no door slamming or loud talking. Lobby/breakfast area very nice. Breakfast was ok, chef very nice juice watered down. Eat in pool patio would have been nice if the spider webs were knocked down off tables before guest got up.
GGuest UserThis hotel was a pleasant surprise. It doesn't look like much from the road, and it also doesn't appear to be near anything in particular. But walk out the back of the property and you're a short walk from Southern Village, a ”main street” type development with offices, some excellent restaurants, a market, and a village green with frequent outdoor entertainment (the NC Symphony was playing one evening during our visit). The hotel was clean, beds were comfy, and breakfast was perfectly adequate by this hotel tier's ”breakfast included” standards.

YYUWENThe location is very good, walking distance from the Meadowmont to go, one side is the fast road on the side of the woods, there is a special walking/riding lane, followed by navigation and culvert crossing the road to a pond and lawn hillside, behind which is the office building to go. There are trails to the business center of Meadowmont, which is convenient for Harris Teeter supermarket, Quickley tea shop, pizza shop, etc. The room and service are normal.
