"Outstanding breakfast with gourmet options. Lovely hosts. Building and room had lots of old fashioned character and charm. Room was small but cosy and had lovely amenities such as very nice quality linens, filtered water, a fan which made the air circulation perfect, and a nicely equipped but compact bathroom. Lovely sit to sit outside and enjoy the garden. Beds were quite narrow and the traffic on the road was heavy and noisy during certain parts of the day. I had thought I had booked a room facing the garden and was disappointed to find it was at the front of the house."

"Ron & Karine are perfect hosts - Ron makes the most delicious scrambled eggs in the world and Karine serves the best Earl Grey (with leman). Room was spotless, bed was seriously comfy. Was only there for one night (4.10.26) but absolutely loved my stay. Could not recommend highly enough .Many thanks! with all love from Kent"

"Friendly enough in arrival, proper spit n sawdust pub, shown to room but hallway was grubby and stinks of cigarettes. Room itself was fine and comfortable. Food and drink in the bar very reasonable. Breakfast good and overall experience was good value for money, very cheap."

"Ideally located for a two night stay whilst visiting relatives. Nice and quiet rooms set back from the road made it ideal for a quiet lie in (we overslept on both days so a very good sign!!). Rooms are well presented, very clean and nicely decorated. We opted for the continental style breakfast which was generous and tasty. Very easy to organise and book and the hosts made it easy throughout. Would definitely recommend and re-book next time."
