A typical, old-style French hotel but with quirky decor in the public places. It has a fabulous location right at the top of Angoulême, at the beating heart of the eating and drinking quarter. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Although there is parking at the hotel, there are not many spaces and it is hard to find. There are other carparks very close by at similar prices. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars was that the bathroom was so dimly lit that I found it hard to shave.

We just had one night here on a journey north and stayed in the light blue room. It was quirky and comfortable. Our windows overlooked the square which was night. It was very hot and there is no air conditioning but the hotel provided a fan which helped. Breakfast was very pleasant. Would definitely stay again.

Charm of a town hall with character and a contemporary interior. The parquet is very nice ... the spirit is relaxed. The parking lot is a little particular and narrow but the hotel staff is friendly. Someone can park your car if needed, it's very cool.

Très bien placé dans une ancienne demeure, l’hôtel propose des chambres agréables et gaies, des poutres apparentes… bref, le charme de m ancien ! Cerise sur le gâteau, le petit-déjeuner est excellent et très peu cher. Enfin, on ne peut rêver meilleur emplacement

Hotel formidable, accueil et service irréprochable, petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Le personnel est toujours souriant Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. La décoration est de très bon goût L’hôtel dans lequel il faut s'arrêter si vous êtes à Angoulème

Het hotel is bijzonder door de inrichting. Hele vriendelijke medewerkers. Het pand is een prachtig oud pand met veel sfeer en oude details. Geen airco maar we kregen een ventilator voor op de kamer en dat was voor ons prima. Het ontbijt was goed. Door de ligging, midden in het centrum, was het de perfecte uitvalsbasis om de mooie stad Angouleme te verkennen.
