We had a perfect overnight at this beautiful location on the lake. The hosts were very helpful, the views wonderful, the rooms very nicely decorated, beds very comfy and we had a lovely breakfast in their lovely dining room. Can't fault it at all.

The location of L'Hirondelle du Lac is stunning, literally right on the lake within walking distance of a lovely swimming spot. On our first evening, we dined on the little terrace watching the swallows swoop over the lake as the sun set. The meal was delicious with everything freshly bought locally. Breakfast was again served outside on the terrace and included homemade jams, honey, fruit, yoghurt, pastries and bread. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean with everything you need, and ours had a window overlooking the lake. The whole place is very atmospheric, and the hosts Frankie and Christopher are super attentive, kind and helpful giving lots of tips on places to go and things to do. This is a great value fantastic place to stay in a beautiful less-discovered part of France.

This is our third year coming to this charming B&B set in the most beautiful Peyrat-le-Chateau on the edge ofa stunning lake. The hosts are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean with quaint antiques dotted around. It feels like staying in a very stylish, comfortable home. Breakfast is served with homemade, delicious fayre, all made from locally sourced ingredients. It’s a magical, tranquil pearl in the heart of the Limousin. It’s easy to get around to all that the area has to offer - walking, cycling, canoeing or music & literary festivals. It’s all here! We will be back next year for some more relaxation and adventure. The most welcoming and relaxing stay I can ever remember having. Christopher and Frankie are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. A beautiful, very comfortable room - I stayed in the Lilac room - with plenty of storage space, and the most stunning, unforgettable view. Breakfast on the terrace was the perfect way to start the day. Make sure you have dinner here one night too, as the meals were absolutely delicious and exceptional value. When visiting the Limousin make sure you say here. It’s a little, hidden gem. I will definitely be back.

Un vrai havre total calme : - La chambre avec vue sur le lac est confortable, bien propre et fonctionnelle et plein Est. - Le balcon terrasse directement au-dessus de lac est idéal pour pauses et repas. - Des hôtes bilingues très gentils et de bons conseils qui sont à l'écoute et rendent bien service : ne pas hésiter à échanger ... - Le petit déjeuner et le plateau repas "Limousin" étaient copieux, produits locaux, cuisine maison et délicieux. L'attention est donnée à vos goûts et allergies. ＞ Ce fut 7 jours reposants réveillés par les hirondelles, des levers de soleil avec vue du lac qui change au gré de la météo. ＞ Un point de départ idéal pour sillonner la région.

Très bon weekend à l'hirondelle du Lac, chambre spacieuse très propre (Réservée pour un mariage à la salle des fête) idéalement située avec une vue magnifique sur le lac. Accueil très chaleureux de Francky et Christopher. Petit déjeuner très bon copieux j'ai adoré la confiture maison avec un petit pain croustillant, pain d'épices maison. Si vous passez dans le coin, n'hésitez pas à faire une halte chez eux. Merci.

Nous avons séjourné 2 jours à l'hirondelle du lac. On a été ravis et conseillons vivement cet établissement. Petits déjeuners et dîner parfaits, literie confortable, déco soignée, hôtes attentionnés et calme absolu avec une très jolie vue sur le lac de Peyrat-le-château.
