The Coalwood Trail Duplex is your home base for everything the Central Upper Peninsula has to offer, including: In spring / summer / fall: * Pictured Rocks (golfing, hiking, kayaking, adventure & sightseeing boats) * Au Train River (canoeing & kayaking) * Valley Spur (hiking & biking) * Laughing Whitefish Falls * Red Barn weddings * Fall color tours In the winter: * Valley Spur (cross-country skiing & snow biking) * Ice caves in Eben When you're not out enjoying everything the area has to offer, park your car, ATV, snowmobile, bike — or dogsled! — and walk to the Village pub/restaurant, grocery store, bank, post office, or ice cream shoppe. The Coalwood Trail, also known as Snowmobile Trail #8, runs immediately behind the building and alongside the Slapneck Creek. Explore on foot, bike, ATV, or snowmachine. Clean, neat, perfect for our family. Located centrally so we could head to Marquette, and Oswalds Bear Ranch and everywhere in between. We saw Pictured Rocks. Sand point beach, Munising, a shipwreck. So many waterfalls, had ice cream nachos. Loved our stay. The place is up to date and very comfortable

family gathering Everyone in our group truly enjoyed the property. It was clean and well stocked with blankets, towels, dishes, pots and pans. The location was perfect for us. Close to the Co-op, The Pub and the local festivities. As close as it is to town, it still felt private and homeyl We would rent the place again!!!

Fantastic set up! Wonderful property, extremely clean and had all the amenities. Summer stay was a bit warm at night for sleep but would recommend bringing a fan despite AC. Easy drive to Munising and Marquette
