The Hotel Chalet at the Choo Choo ★★★★
"What a unique hotel, it’s like traveling back in time! All the amenities are wonderful and the staff friendly."
Hotel Bo, a Days Inn by Wyndham Chattanooga Downtown ★★
"Clean room. No dresser or other type of wardrobe to unpack clothes; hangers available, along with ironing board/iron. Hair dryer. No microwave even though one pictured in the room pic I saw. Coffeemaker adequate but could be nicer. Tolietries provided (single use). Staff friendly & helpful. Couldn't connect to Wifi; must use hotel admin password which they provided. Ice machine on my floor didn't work, easy access to another unit on other floor via elevator. Walking distance to free City Shuttle and several very good restaurants and cafes. Decor is quasi mid-century modern. Small desk and swivel office chair but no other additional seating, other than on your bed. Small vinyl "ottoman" (to be used how?). Heating/AC unit efficient & quiet? Had fan only mode for air circulation which was nice. Room view blocked by structural pillar; I didn't want to hassle changing rooms; on hindsight, I should have moved to "pool view" room instead of "city view.""
The Read House Hotel ★★★★
"The front desk had a straight face, and valet parking at the door was RMB 25 a day, plus additional tax. The room is large, the hot water is not hot enough, and the bathroom does not have much heat. I dare not take a shower for too long for fear of catching cold. The hotel itself is nice, has a sense of history and is well maintained."
Super 8 by Wyndham Chattanooga East - Hamilton Place ★★
"Front desk staff was nice. Rooms were clean. Area is sketchy! There are homeless people camped out at businesses next door to this hotel."
The Chattanoogan Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton ★★★★
"The hotel was much bigger than I expected and the facilities were good. The staff were all friendly. Due to my travel schedule, I ended up just sleeping, so I regretted not being able to use the pool, bar, etc. I would like to use it again next time I go to Chattanooga."
Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown ★★★
The Landing Social House
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga Downtown/South ★★
"Somewhat thin walls but pretty good otherwise. 20 minutes walk to the middle of downtown."
Days Inn by Wyndham Chattanooga/Hamilton Place ★★
"It's a small but clean and nice hotel. Breakfast service includes waffles, bread, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, etc. (mainly carbohydrates). Since it's a cost-effective hotel, there's no water or coffee machine in the room. But I'm still satisfied."

Days Inn by Wyndham Chattanooga Lookout Mountain West
"Booked two rooms and stayed for one night with the family. The inn is located near the interstate and overlooked the mountain. Breakfast was very simple—pancakes, coffee, cereals. The pancake was very good. The rooms were clean in general but had a scent of an old room. Staff was friendly and checked in / out was fast. Breakfast could be better but overall it was good."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chattanooga
"A classic chain hotel next to the highway. There is no environment to speak of. It is an ordinary fast hotel that you can sleep in and leave. There is a gas station and you can get on the highway in three minutes. It is very suitable for rushing."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga North - Hixson
"Amazing hotel"
Super 8 by Wyndham Chattanooga Lookout Mountain TN
"I thought the front desk staff was really nice and helpful. The check in and out was super quick and easy. The breakfast was minimal, but good. They have a waffle maker, some cereal, yogurt, toast, coffee and juice. We were happy with it! And we swam in the pool which was small, but nice! It was a good location- about 10 minutes from downtown and easy to get on and off the highway from. I will say the hotel is a little run-down looking, especially our carpet in our room, but it was ok! The TV worked and had enough channels and the beds were comfortable. For the price, it was worth it, I'd say!"
Hampton Inn & Suites Chattanooga/Downtown
"One of our favorite places to stay!! We love the location! Easy to walk anywhere we want to go!! Staff is always amazing!! Some of our favorites are people watching from the balcony and hanging out at the awesome pool!! A little hidden paradise!! Book a long suite with a balcony….you won’t be disappointed 🙂"
DoubleTree by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown
"Feel good, stay another night, the staff is very friendly! Breakfast is OK."
Tru by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place
"Hotel is great"
Drury Plaza Hotel Chattanooga Hamilton Place
"New, clean ,free little dinner."
Hotel Clemons
"There were two bathrooms in our place. You would think that there would be plenty of hot water for 2 guest to shower. One had hot water and the other did not."
SpringHill Suites Chattanooga Downtown/Cameron Harbor
"Exceeded my expectations! The location and views were fantastic. It's right next to a waterfront promenade, and the Duck Boat tour is within walking distance. This is the best Springhill I've ever stayed at, and the best budget-friendly hotel overall."
The Edwin Hotel, Autograph Collection
"Very friendly staff, excellent location near river, downtown, and arts district. Rooms have just enough space to fit a couch and the hotel interior has a great eclectic feel."
Hilton Garden Inn Chattanooga Downtown
Studio 6 Suites Chattanooga, TN - Lookout Mtn.
Red Roof Inn Chattanooga – Hamilton Place
"Fine for a night, not the cleanest! Staff were nice and location is far from anywhere but has coffee shops etc nearby!"
Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Hamilton Place
"Great hotel to stay in on our trip from Michigan to Florida its always friendly and very welcoming and clean, its our 1/2 way point and very convenient off of I-75"
Howard Johnson by Wyndham Chattanooga Lookout Mountain I-24
"The room was clean for the most part (the price we paid, you can't expect it to be spotless). The stay was okay, our air-conditioner didnt work and we were so tired the first nignt, we didnt say anything. We got up and left, spending most of the day out. When we got back, we still didnt say anything about the air not working. However, on the 3rd day we did mention it to the guy up front. He offered to change rooms but we declined since we only had one more night left. The guy returned to our room with a box fan for us! Very sweet gesture and we gladly accepted. I always clean up after myself before leaving so they don't have as much of a mess to clean. It was a $50 deposit at check-in with the statement it could be 4-6 weeks before its issued back. We recieved the deposit back the same day, a few hours after leaving. Again, it isnt a luxury high-end place but it was worth the price paid and a very friendly front desk worker!"
