Village Hotel Manchester Cheadle ★★★
"The staff are absolutely lovely, and the facilities are top-notch! We absolutely adore the swimming pool! The location is fantastic too, with a plethora of restaurants just a stone’s throw away. The rooms are clean, and parking is a breeze. We’re definitely planning our return trip! "
Manchester (Cheadle) ★★★
"Had a really lovely stay at Premier Inn Royal Crescent. The beds were incredibly comfy and we had such a good night’s sleep. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and in a great location. The only improvement I can think of is that the hotel needs AC as it gets very hot. A special mention to Nicola on reception, who was so lovely and helpful throughout our stay. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and was a real credit to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!"
Oddfellows on the Park ★★★★
"I booked this hotel for family reunion before attending a wedding locally the following day.. We were hoping that our family could have a lovely relaxed get together and catch up in a great location. The hotel building was absolutely stunning and the grounds were beautiful. There is a lovely play park next to the hotel for anyone with young children. The service was very good, staff were very professional and helpful. The young girls seving breakfast were lovely although very softly spoken, maybe a lack of confidence, but I found myself struggling to hear what was said. Not a huge problem but as many elderly people like myself have some hearing loss, it is something to be aware of during staff training. Unfortunately our experience of this gorgeous place was spoiled by the very loud karaoke party taking place on the lawn all afternoon. The hotel is on a busy flight path, and karaoke as well as that was just too much! We were a group of ten, in five rooms. The group arrived throughout the day, some travelling up to three hours and others, five. The only place we could meet and hear ourselves chat was the air conditioned bar. This was not ideal on a beautiful sunny day when it would have been lovely to sit outside and enjoy the lovely surroundings. The bar staff did carry a couple of heavy chairs to the front of the hotel at one point, where the sound was a little quieter, but as our group numbers increased this didn't work for us. As the person who chose the hotel for our family reunion, I felt very sad and embarrassed that the noise meant that we weren't able to enjoy the location as we should have been able to."
Pymgate Lodge Hotel Manchester Airport ★★★
"The location is rather remote, so it's not recommended for those without a car or a lone woman traveling alone at night. It's a bit far from the bus station, and the only convenient option is a taxi ride to the airport... There are no major issues with cleanliness or other aspects."
