"My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of a wee road trip to visit a few theme parks with Alton towers being one, we had stayed here in 2008 when we went to Alton and booked again as we remembered the lovely courtyard with the pond etc. from check in to check out it was a very Pleasant stay, the fella at reception (sorry I didn’t catch your name, we were the couple in room 12) was very friendly and attentive, he also served us breakfast which was great, the room was spotless and a great size. I wish the manor all the best for the future and look forward to visiting again in the future. Cheers Bryan."

"Brilliant experience at moorville hall hotel, staff were spot on and were very helpful they went over and beyond for us during our stay. Brilliant accommodation, the pool, sauna and steam room were lovely as-well. One manager I think his name was glen was amazing and went over the top to help us and make sure our stay was the best it could have been."

"Just so noisy with kids running up and down the corridors, no parents in sight. Then breakfast time, kids and their parents stood around in the servery after a dodgy nights sleep finished off a not so nice stay. Put card door controls on the stair doors maybe. The room was fairly clean but the stairwells were dirty. The cups in my room had not been washed."

"I was apprehensive about the hotel after reading previous reviews, but in some ways I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. I will start with the positives. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were here to attend a wedding at The Ashes in Endon, and this hotel was much more affordable than other, closer hotels and it was only a £10 taxi ride away. The hotel is facing Stoke train station and transport links are good. There is an iron and a hairdryer in the room. Now the negatives. The service we received upon arrival was awful. The lady who checked us in gave us no information or direction and we were made to feel like an inconvenience to her. I would rank her service amongst the worst I have ever received at a hotel. The frustrating thing here is that there were another two women at the reception who helped us over the next couple of days whose service was actually very good, and it is a shame their reputation is let down by one individual. We were staying on the first floor and the wifi did not reach here. Also, the shower flooded the bathroom whenever it was used, and this was unavoidable."
