We were welcomed by the lovely pair that own the Parsonage. The views of the reservoir were spectacular and the gardens are stunning! Our room was sizeable and cosy and felt like staying at your grandparents’ place. The room and en-suite were spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Black out rooms so we slept very well :＞ The location is great, 10 minute walk from Axbridge and a half hour walk to Cheddar. The hosts were very knowledgable about the history of Axbridge, and there are historic homages on the walls. Breakfast was delicious and filling!

This was the perfect stop over place for us. The Old Manor House had everything you could possibly need for an overnight stay and even more that you wouldn’t have even expected. The welcome was lovely, the rooms very clean, tidy and comfortable. We had 2 children with us and the room set up was just perfect for us all. Even though it is positioned close to a main road, we couldn’t hear the traffic at all. The breakfast was exceptional with a fry up and other options available. It was so nice to try their home made jams and the gluten free options were vast. Nothing was too much trouble and we would have loved to stay longer.

This is the most fantastic experience. The pool and saunas are what you need after a long and hard day. The restaurant has a very tasty dinner (we ordered steaks) and breakfast. The staff is very polite, explains everything, just class. I highly recommend this place for a couple. Because the bed was just fantastic!
