The best hotel that I stayed at when I’ve stay in Buffalo . Hand a down. Staff excellent

Highly disappointed We checked in just before midnight as our flight was delayed. The front staff were very nice, friendly and she decided to “upgrade” us to a mini suite. While in theory this was nice since we had been traveling all day, the condition of the room was not ideal. We got to the room and once we opened the door we were hit with a very strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. After the day we had we figured we would adjust and just shower and head to bed. My partner went to sit on the couch in the living room and the entire corner of the living room smelled like urine. Again, not ideal but we just wanted to shower and sleep. We checked the bed and all was in order. We decided to again suck it up and stay. I took a shower which was fine, but when getting out of the shower I noticed there was human waste smeared down the side of the toilet between the toilet and the shower. While this is clearly from the people who stayed in this room before it is clear house keeping DIDN’T clean this room throughly. Once in bed my partner tried to turn on the TV and it didn’t work. At that point we gave up, ended up staying the night but we highly Considered getting in our car and doing the 2 hour drive home, but with how tired we were it wasn’t safe to drive. I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott properties and this was by far the biggest disappointment.
