Sakura hotel ★★★
"The staff are kind and the place is nice. The room is a bit cold, but they provide three blankets, so it's not a problem when sleeping. The location is also good as it is close to the cluster of blue buildings. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the CTM bus stop. It is close to the busy downtown area, and there are restaurants and small shops nearby. The price is reasonable, so I am quite satisfied."
Casa Sabila ★★★
"The hotel wasn't great, but the staff were friendly."
Hotel Molino Garden ★★★
"A stunningly beautiful place. Amidst the concrete jungle of the Medina stands a hotel with its own park. It's very picturesque. The rooms are simple but stylish. The only downside is the shared bathrooms and showers on each floor. But that's not a deal-breaker. Breakfast is available, but everything is a la carte. It's expensive. Wi-Fi is available."
RIAD CHENGLI ★★★
"A very charming riad right in the city center. If you arrive by car, they send you a map showing where to park. Then, staff meet you at the parking lot and escort you to the riad. The people are very friendly and pleasant. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Breakfast is delicious and served on the terrace with a city view. Highly recommend."
Hotel Barcelona ★★★
"Good, good breakfast, delicious juice, in an alley, very quiet"
Iguana Azul ★★★★
"It was a wonderful stay. The service was excellent. Mint tea and breakfast were delicious. I had breakfast with a beautiful view. The staff are very kind and their hospitality was great. They told me that they could keep my luggage after check-out, even though I didn’t ask them."
Casa Blue Star ★★★
"A beautifully decorated traditional Moroccan-style courtyard guesthouse. The rooftop restaurant offers stunning views of Chefchaouen. Breakfast was delicious. The staff even kindly arranged for someone to help us carry our luggage to the station. Highly recommended."
Hostal la Joya ★★
"I don’t understand why this hostel has such low rating. It’s perfectly located 5 mins from main square but also from mountain 🏔️. The guys working there don’t speak much other than Arabic but they are so nice and friendly. And the most important ! You can pay with card!!!!! The only “bad” thing was that in the bathroom there is big window always opened and it’s cold 🥶 at night."
Maison d'hôtes Afassi ★★★
"We arrived and left by bus, and this was a great location for it. The staff was very responsive, thank you for that. They gave us a detailed map with locations so we could see everything in one day! Breakfast on the terrace was amazing, very filling and delicious. Thank you for your hospitality. The beds were excellent, everything we needed for a relaxing stay was there. Thank you. I highly recommend it."

Villa Rita Guest House
"A bit far from city town and you better drive there to avoid slopes. They provided off site parking it’s okay off the peak reason. Breakfast on the roof , view is amazing but a bit chilling in May morning. The service was good and checking in out was smooth and quick. I was on 2nd floor but there was no elevator. But I do believe nice staff would give a hand to elderly visitors ."
Hotel Parador
"Bathrooms have mould in the wall and floor tile grout. TV and air-conditioning were not working. Asked front desk for assistance but nobody came, a lot of apathy going on at the front counter and dining room. Breakfast buffet very limited compared to other 3 star hotels we have stayed in in Morocco. Rooms were clean and beds good. The staff at tge front counter and running the dining room should not be in the Hospitality industry as they are simply not hospitable, specifically Front Desk duties where you expect a smile."
Dar Jasmine
"It is not convenient if you are traveling with elderly people because you need to climb a lot of steps to reach the hotel. However, the hotel is really beautiful and the night view is amazing."
Lina Ryad & Spa
"The European style design emphasizes cleanliness and tidiness, the overall environment is good, and breakfast is also available. Located high on the top of the mountain, the viewing platform is suitable for viewing the scenery."
Taj Chefchaouen Luxury Hotel and Spa
"Situated in a prime location. easy reach to the blue town! making it ideal for guests who like to explore local cuisine and shopping."
Riad Zaitouna Chaouen
"We stayed for one night. It's very conveniently located within the Medina, the rooms are clean, the breakfasts are hearty, and the staff speaks excellent English. I'd like to say a special thank you for their compassion. They were always there to help, whether it was buying a ticket or answering any questions."
Riad Nila
"Nice n clean Riad inside the Medina, great breakfast and nice rooftop !! get the taxi driver to ring ahead so someone from the Riad can meet you and take your luggage as there’s steps to climb."
Puerta Azul
"There is a Chinese "welcome" at the entrance of the hotel. The staff is very enthusiastic. The room was upgraded to the second floor. The light on the first floor is poor. Azl, the receptionist, immediately moved it to the second floor. You can walk to the scenic spot. Recommended."
Dar Nokhba Inn
"The hotel is located near the medina. We shared a room with two couples. It was small, but fine for one night. It had a small living room with a kitchen and two bedrooms. We had breakfast at a cafe near the hotel, and it was good."
Dar Aldea
"日本語の説明は英語の下にあります。 It was a lovely riad at the top of a popular staircase that you often see on Instagram. We were welcomed by the owner, Amina, who is very kind, and her daughter, who has a lovely smile. Amina's riad was very tasteful, and the doors and windows of the rooms and Amina's kitchen were like a lovely art gallery. The room was small and the wifi was sometimes weak, but it was clean and the shower and bed were very comfortable. One of the highlights here is the two-level rooftop. The rooftop here is the best because you can see the mountains and the city right in front of you, as well as the sunrise and sunset. Our purpose in visiting this city was to walk around the blue city, but eating Amina's breakfast and reading a book in this beautiful view was also a precious memory. Another highlight was meeting the cats that live in the riad area. There are usually about five cute cats on these stairs, but there was one cat that was particularly friendly. When we started to climb the stairs to return to the riad, it ran down the stairs. It was as if it was saying "Welcome home". When we told Amina about it, we found out that the cat (named Simba) was the one her daughter kept. Simba gave us a hug the night before we left, and was waiting for us at the entrance on the day we left. Meeting Simba is also a precious memory of this trip. Finally, I wanted to experience an authentic Hammam on this trip, so Amina introduced me to a wonderful Hammam (Lina Riad & Spa). Thanks to Amina and her daughter, our 2-night, 3-day stay here was a special one! Thank you very much.
Dar Saida Hora
Luxury Chaouen
"The rooms are clean, staff is courteous and helpful, breakfast was served earlier upon our request. It is located a good 15-20' from the blue downtown but, after a day spent riding a motorcycle, it was actually a good exercise..."
