Sakura hotel ★★★

📍 Place Bab Souk, Av. Sidi Abdelhamid, Chefchaouen

"The staff are kind and the place is nice. The room is a bit cold, but they provide three blankets, so it's not a problem when sleeping. The location is also good as it is close to the cluster of blue buildings. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the CTM bus stop. It is close to the busy downtown area, and there are restaurants and small shops nearby. The price is reasonable, so I am quite satisfied."

Hotel Molino Garden
9.0 (59 reviews)

Hotel Molino Garden ★★★

📍 Rue raouachid, quartier sebanine, Chefchaouen

"This hotel is in a great location, close to attractions and shopping centres. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with complete facilities and friendly and thoughtful service staff. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious. The only drawback is that the room price is slightly higher. Overall, it is a great value for money hotel and worth recommending to others."

Casa Sabila
9.3 (107 reviews)

Casa Sabila ★★★

📍 Rue Ibn Asskar, Chefchaouen

"The hotel wasn't great, but the staff were friendly."

Hotel Parador
7.6 (50 reviews)

Hotel Parador ★★★★

📍 Place Debnat Elmakhzen, BP3, Chefchaouen

"The hotel is in a great location right by the Kasbah and right amongst the action with great views of the surrounding mountains. The public areas are in reasonable condition but the hotel is probably about a 2.5 star. The rooms are basic but clean and adequately furnished. The breakfast was fairly typical and uninspiring featuring mostly dry bread type products and the like. "

Hotel Barcelona

Hotel Barcelona ★★★

📍 15 Rue Bin Souaki, Chefchaouen

"It's hard to find a place. It's best to ask local children to take care of you. The boss is very enthusiastic and the service is very attentive. The balcony on the roof is amazing. You can see the whole supermarket. It's nice."

"Cosy hotel at the centre of town. Walking distance to everywhere. Is hard to bring luggage in, but they will have people to assist you with the luggage with extra tipping. They serve real good breakfast and the staff is super nice. Taufik take care of the night shift and we worried we can’t find our way to restaurant, he walked us there and also check on us if we finish and he came and took us back."

Villa Rita Guest House Hotels in Chefchaouen

Villa Rita Guest House

"I am unsure where to begin with this review. But if I could get my money back, I would. When I arrived, the entire guesthouse was under renovation. It smelled of paint and varnish, workers were everywhere, and I ended up with varnish on my clothes. One worker had to call the owner or someone responsible for the hotel to meet me with a key, and then, I never saw anybody again. Nobody should have been staying there at this time; especially not a solo female traveller with no other guests around and no concierge. The room was a suite with a separate sitting room, so there was plenty of space. But the bathroom and towels were a bit dirty, and there was no blanket or duvet on the bed. I had to add blankets from the closet. I had no idea when they had last been washed. This place is more of an apartment with catered breakfast; not a guesthouse or hotel. The accommodation itself is in a residential neighbourhood, up-hill from the Medina. Not a horrible walk for me, as I do walk quite a bit at home. But it is very isolated for travellers. Once I went back after sight-seeing for the day, I did not wish to walk back another 20-25 minutes in the dark to find a restaurant. And I would have had to take a taxi back in dark, no question. The frightening part was being woken up on my 2nd (and final) night at 5:30 am to a VERY loud mobile phone alarm. It went off again at 6:00 am. I went to the outside landing to see where it was coming from: a man had been sleeping on the couch in the room across from mine with the door wide open. I had no idea who he was, but I quickly packed my bags and left as soon as I could. (He had left before I did and closed the door.) My advice is to stay in the Medina."

Puerta Azul Hotels in Chefchaouen

Puerta Azul

"There is a Chinese "welcome" at the entrance of the hotel. The staff is very enthusiastic. The room was upgraded to the second floor. The light on the first floor is poor. Azl, the receptionist, immediately moved it to the second floor. You can walk to the scenic spot. Recommended."

Dar Aldea Hotels in Chefchaouen

Dar Aldea

"日本語の説明は英語の下にあります。 It was a lovely riad at the top of a popular staircase that you often see on Instagram. We were welcomed by the owner, Amina, who is very kind, and her daughter, who has a lovely smile. Amina's riad was very tasteful, and the doors and windows of the rooms and Amina's kitchen were like a lovely art gallery. The room was small and the wifi was sometimes weak, but it was clean and the shower and bed were very comfortable. One of the highlights here is the two-level rooftop. The rooftop here is the best because you can see the mountains and the city right in front of you, as well as the sunrise and sunset. Our purpose in visiting this city was to walk around the blue city, but eating Amina's breakfast and reading a book in this beautiful view was also a precious memory. Another highlight was meeting the cats that live in the riad area. There are usually about five cute cats on these stairs, but there was one cat that was particularly friendly. When we started to climb the stairs to return to the riad, it ran down the stairs. It was as if it was saying "Welcome home". When we told Amina about it, we found out that the cat (named Simba) was the one her daughter kept. Simba gave us a hug the night before we left, and was waiting for us at the entrance on the day we left. Meeting Simba is also a precious memory of this trip. Finally, I wanted to experience an authentic Hammam on this trip, so Amina introduced me to a wonderful Hammam (Lina Riad & Spa). Thanks to Amina and her daughter, our 2-night, 3-day stay here was a special one! Thank you very much.

Taj Chefchaouen Luxury Hotel and Spa ★★★★
"A wonderful hotel, everything about it is great - impeccable cleanliness and a new (very beautiful) renovation; responsive, polite staff; and the best view of the city. The hotel is located in the medina, right by the wall, which is a huge plus. It has its own parking, but the descent into the medina starts directly from the hotel. Upon arrival, we were offered a free room upgrade, and we decided to extend our stay that very day. There are good breakfasts and a rooftop restaurant with European cuisine, where musicians sometimes perform. Room service is excellent. The room is well-equipped with a coffee machine, daily water replenishment, and very good toiletries in the bathroom. We would be happy to return to this wonderful place and will definitely recommend it to our friends."

The location is also convenient: the market, medina, and train station are all within walking distance! There's a terrace with a beautiful view! Fruit shops are right there across the street – delicious food at reasonable prices! The owner is great, and he's very accommodating of all our requests. I highly recommend!"

Hotel Molino Garden ★★★
"The location is not easy to find. The signboard of the B&B is very small and difficult to find. I walked around twice and couldn't find it. I paid a local to show me the way. I gave a tip of 40 dirhams. The room information on Ctrip said it had an independent bathroom. Check in Later, the boss said no, it was public. The circled toilets in the photo were the toilets on each floor. Ctrip was told to change the room information. The rooms are full, mostly Europeans and Americans. The room environment is quite simple, but very clean. It is recommended to stay in Chefchaouen, preferably near the parking lot at the foot of the mountain. The ancient city is really a mountain road with 18 bends and too many small roads. It's hard to find."

"There are restrictions on accommodation in the old town, so the room will be small and two suitcases cannot be pulled apart. You can carry your luggage from the parking spot to here by yourself. If anyone helps, you can give a tip. It doesn't affect anything. Have breakfast on the terrace, facing the mountains, and have a happy day~~"

"Another basic hotel located just next to the old city of Chefchaouen. Stayed 2 nights in a tiny room with beautiful view of mountains. Rooms are in the 1st and 2nd floors with an elevator. Staff is responsive and helpful but not proactive. Rooms are small, basic, smells old, need an upgrade. Furniture is old, beds are broken, lights not working. No fridge in the room. There was a kettle with tea and coffee. Water pressure was good. WiFi was working. Breakfast was reasonable, as usual in any other basic hotel, bread, pastries, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, and few other items. On request they might make an omelette. Big plus point is the location."
