Travelodge Cheltenham

Absolutely great hotel, staff all polite and helpful. Lovely clean rooms, comfy beds. We would definitely stay there again. Easy to get too, and having the bonus of a Havester and KFC right next door. A small walk across the road to the bus stop so you can get into town on the night time.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was quite disappointing due to the overall cleanliness. The entire property had a strong smell of smoke, which was noticeable as soon as we stepped outside and continued throughout the corridors. This made it very unpleasant to walk through the hotel. The doors throughout the building appeared dirty and poorly maintained. Our bathroom, in particular, had tiles that looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in some time, which was unhygienic and off-putting. Additionally, the carpet in our bedroom was in very poor condition and appeared quite dirty, which added to our discomfort. Cleanliness and basic maintenance should be a top priority for any hotel, and unfortunately, this location did not meet those expectations.

I even when you pay for the fast WiFi nightmare even logging on to the wifi. Staff claimed they could not refund me as it was an external company even though I paid Travelodge….
