Chengde Mountain Resort Sophia Hotel Reviews

Great location, excellent service, and very clean. The bathroom was also very spacious. We had a comfortable stay. It's close to the Mountain Resort, and it was super convenient to visit the Erxianju West Street night market in the evening.

Didn't want to rush our trip, so this is my second time staying at this hotel. It's very close to the Mountain Resort, which was perfect for taking the kids to play. The room was really clean, and my child slept soundly. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service, patiently answering all our questions. It offers great value for money. I'll definitely bring my family and friends here again next time. It's truly a great place! Thumbs up!

The hotel's location is excellent; it's within walking distance to the Mountain Resort, and you can even stroll to the night market. The downsides are that the soundproofing isn't great, and there's no restaurant, so no breakfast. Luckily, it's very close to various local eateries.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Mountain Resort. There's exclusive parking right outside, and even though spots are limited, the security guards are very helpful in directing you. The staff are all young women and incredibly nice. It's really convenient to stay here for a trip; dining and sightseeing spots are all close by, and it's easy to explore the night market in the evenings.

The young lady at the hotel was very enthusiastic; she even came out to help with our luggage, and her service attitude was excellent. The hotel room was spacious, looked clean and tidy, and all the disposable amenities were readily available. The hotel's location is great, right next to Jinlong Shopping Plaza, and very close to the Summer Resort, within walking distance. It's also not far from the Eight Outer Temples scenic area, about a 10 yuan taxi ride away. I had a wonderful stay this time, and I'll choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengde.

Staying here was very comfortable. The hotel is right across from the Wulie River, which made it super convenient and pleasant for morning and evening walks along the bank. The attractions in Chengde are very senior-friendly, and many of them are free, which is a huge plus!

Pretty good overall, it has everything you need. It was a bit noisy during the day when we were trying to rest after exploring, but super quiet at night. The service was excellent! The hotel offers daily guided tours which were very informative and convenient. We were very satisfied. There's a mall nearby with food options, and breakfast isn't far either.

Despite these minor flaws, service quality is definitely the top priority in the hospitality industry. Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, from proactively reaching out to add a personal concierge, to helping with luggage, assisting with parking, and providing travel advice – they were meticulously thorough in every detail. While the hardware facilities might not earn a perfect score, their work attitude absolutely deserves a five-star rating.

The hotel was very neat and clean. The front desk staff, a few young ladies, were beautiful and enthusiastic. Tour guide Xiao Yu was very professional and dedicated, explaining the history of the Mountain Resort in detail. I learned a lot following her. It was a wonderful trip to Chengde.
