This was my first time in Chengdu, and I was really struggling to pick a hotel. I mean, a good night's sleep pretty much dictates how your next day goes, so I ultimately went with the Elegant Hotel after a lot of deliberation! I saw that the hotel was in a prime location with a lively area around it, perfect for an evening stroll. I also had breakfast at the hotel the next morning and found it to be diverse and very nutritious, which made the trip feel totally worth it. Chengdu is also a fantastic city to visit, with perfect weather – not too cold, not too hot. Wenshu Monastery is definitely worth a visit too. I'm very satisfied with this trip.
