Kew Green Hotel Chengdu

The hotel is really great, and very clean. The environment is comfortable, and transportation is super convenient. Troma provided excellent service, and I look forward to staying here again. Plus, I got an 8.8% discount at Shan Mian Bao (Renmin Park branch) which was a nice bonus!

The rooms are new, and the location is great, making it convenient to get anywhere. The hotel is newly opened, and you can tell the staff are polite and try their best with everything. I'd definitely recommend it. The breakfast is also plentiful.

Putting aside the fatigue of my journey, I found complete comfort and warmth at Rejing. Cassie was genuinely kind and thoughtful, and every service detail made me feel truly welcome. The hotel features unique designs, with elegant and attractive public areas, and well-laid-out rooms. The toiletries were also of good quality. It was an unexpectedly pleasant stay.

The best surprise during a tiring trip was the warm and thoughtful service from COCO at the hotel's front desk. She was polite, gentle, and incredibly efficient in handling all the procedures, meticulously reminding me of important details. Her enthusiasm was just right—not forced, not perfunctory—and her professionalism and kindness melted away the fatigue of travel, putting a perfect end to this stay. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

## Pros 1. This is a chain hotel and it's very new. Its biggest advantage is the excellent location, right near Renmin Park Subway Station. Renmin Park is on Metro Line 2, so you can get to Chengdu East Station and Xipu Station directly without changing lines, which is incredibly convenient. Dining, shopping, and sightseeing are all super easy from here. Downstairs, there's KFC, McDonald's, and two popular internet-famous spots, Lishan Mountain and Shan Bakery. Renmin Park is just a 5-minute walk away. 2. The hotel restaurant is on the top floor and has outdoor seating with a view. Breakfast is pretty good, with a decent variety, and there's a live cooking station for noodles and rice noodles. 3. There's a gym and laundry room on the 9th floor, which is very friendly for guests who need to work out or do laundry. 4. The rooms have smart toilets, and all facilities are smart-controlled. The amenities are comprehensive, there are no strange odors, and the cleaning is relatively good. ## Cons 1. Because it's so close to the subway, there's quite a bit of noise. Even on the sixth or seventh floor, you can hear the rumble of the subway trains passing by regularly when you're trying to sleep (perhaps because the subway line isn't dug very deep). People with light sleep should choose with caution. 2. The hotel's mosquito control is poor. There aren't even screens on the windows! You either have to keep the window closed and use the air conditioning, or if you open it, mosquitoes come in immediately because there's a lot of greenery nearby. This is very unfriendly for families with children. As a tourist hotel, especially one with family rooms, this is an issue that could easily be improved if the staff themselves had children. It seems like it's never been addressed in their procedures. 3. The hotel's triple room (family room) surprisingly only provides two breakfasts. It's understandable if they don't offer a discount on breakfast prices; providing two breakfasts is also understandable. But for a room type almost exclusively booked by families with children, what's the logic behind only offering two breakfasts? I'd rather the hotel include the price of three breakfasts in the room rate than have guests coordinate and argue with the front desk about breakfast. Fortunately, after talking with the front desk, they provided a complimentary children's breakfast. ## Summary Based on the above, the Rui Jing Hotel has excellent hardware and a superb location, but the service truly doesn't seem to have been thoughtfully considered from the guest's perspective. Many details still have room for improvement!
