4.5/ 5ExcellentXinliang hotel was the best deal around downtown chengdu. It’s in a great location with lots of food and shopping locations. The hotel’s bed was a little uncomfortable, too springy. Other than that, I would stay here just for the convenient location!

Haven't found the right hotel yet?
We originally booked 4 nights but became stranded in Chengdu and added another 3 nights. Staff was always very nice and helpful. This hotel was recommended by another family and when I looked online it did seem a bit old but reviews were great. Upon arrival I was delighted to find a very spacious room - especially since I was traveling with two kids. And the room was very clean, one could see that they were taking care of keeping it fresh. A bathroom can quickly look dirty and old but that was not the case at all. Our room was quiet despite having a view on the main street. Breakfast is Chinese style on big round tables. Location is perfect. Walking distance to the main shopping street and 700m away from Taikoo Li. Plenty of restaurants choice around the hotel. I highly recommend Taolin on the street behind the restaurant. And many useful shops like pharmacies, Watson’s, Miniso, HM, Zara…one could come without luggage and find all within 500m of the hotel. Location makes it also perfect to move around the city. Would definitely book again. Very good value for money.
