I came to Chengdu for a trip and had a layover at Tianfu Airport on my way back, so I stayed for a night at the Fairmont in Tianfu New Area. Overall, it was pretty good, but still not quite on par with the Fairmont Wuhan or the Fairmont Peace Hotel Shanghai, which I've stayed at before. **Location**: In Tianfu New Area, adjacent to Century City Metro Station. You can take the subway directly to Tianfu Airport, which is very convenient. **Hardware**: The public areas here are a bit small and don't have much of a design aesthetic, but the materials used are of good quality. Also, my room faced Tianfu Avenue, so there was some noise, making the stay experience just average. **Service**: Truly excellent. Whether it was the concierge or the front desk, and especially the Gold Lounge, the service was very proactive and attentive. **Recreational Facilities**: The gym was decent, but I didn't get a chance to use the pool. **Breakfast**: The dandan noodles made by the chef were delicious. The rest of the breakfast was average and not particularly memorable.

Overall, the rooms were decent. However, some bathrooms had an odor, and the room on the 31st floor had poor soundproofing – you could hear conversations from outside. I hope that the room assignment process can be quicker in the future.

Service: The front desk staff were all incredibly professional and attentive, particularly Nelly, who instantly elevated our satisfaction with the hotel. Facilities: The facilities were good. Cleanliness: Everything was very well-maintained, and the bathroom was spotless.

Had a fantastic business trip. The hotel generously upgraded me to an excellent room type, offering direct views of the Global Center and Tianfu Avenue's nightscape. The breakfast was also very unique, featuring Chengdu's Sweet Water Noodles, Taosu (peach crisp), and Mihuatang (puffed rice candy). Fairmont will definitely be my top choice for future business trips to Chengdu.

I extended my stay multiple times, and each time I was upgraded to a 270º suite. The views from there were absolutely breathtaking, and the service was consistently warm and attentive. The subway station is conveniently located right below the hotel, making travel extremely easy. My stay also perfectly coincided with the World Games, and since the hotel was one of the official host properties, I truly enjoyed soaking in the vibrant atmosphere every day. The attached photo shows a nearby park, perfect for a relaxing stroll.

The room had a fantastic city view at night. My only minor complaint was that the air conditioning unit was quite loud in the evenings. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Facilities: Excellent. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Beautiful surroundings with lush greenery. Service: All staff members, from the doorman to the front desk and housekeeping team, provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. Their work was impeccable. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. Buffet Restaurant: The food selection was abundant and varied, offering excellent value for money.

The hotel is conveniently located near SKP, with several shopping malls and numerous dining options in the surrounding area. Our room was quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was decent, and it's also close to a subway station.

The location is extremely convenient, with subway access right outside. Being on Chengdu's ring road ensures smooth transportation and good traffic conditions. The hotel also offers a full range of amenities, including a well-equipped pool and gym. It's perfect for travelers.

Upon check-in, I decided to try my luck and ask for an upgrade. To my delight, I was indeed upgraded to the Executive Floor! What a fantastic start to my Chengdu trip, setting a perfect mood from the get-go. The housekeeping service was exceptional. Staff proactively checked our room two to three times daily, ensuring the air conditioning and curtains were always in perfect order. Water refills were prompt, and the staff were consistently patient and accommodating, never showing any hint of annoyance. A massive thank you to the housekeeping team for making our multi-generational family stay so comfortable and enjoyable. And a special thank you to the gentleman who helped collect my express packages. My apologies for bothering you twice, but your assistance was greatly appreciated!

The classic Fairmont style consistently delivers such a reassuring and comfortable ambiance – that 'home away from home' feeling is truly paramount. Iris truly has an incredible eye for detail! The thoughtful sleep aromatherapy was a lovely touch and genuinely helped us rest, while the red wine added the perfect romantic note to our time together. This level of genuinely caring service really leaves a lasting impression. We had such a wonderful two days; just thinking about them makes me feel so content. 💕

Good location, and overall it was decent, but parking was inconvenient.

The room's decor was a pleasant surprise, and the design truly resonated with me. The breakfast quality was also excellent. The only downside was the service. The front desk and restaurant staff seemed inadequately trained; they came across as rather indifferent and mechanical. This is certainly not the standard one would expect from a Fairmont hotel. The service was a major disappointment!
