I had a great time in Chengdu, and that was partly due to this hotel. Checking was smooth and I like that it's from 12:00 instead of the usual 14:00 around the world. There's drinks/tea in the lobby that is nicely decorated. There are seats outside to hang out if you want to. The room looks just like the pictures, and has everything you'd need; it's well stocked with snacks, coffee, tea and water. I had a room facing the street and it's nice and quiet during the evening. It's located in a local area, and there's a convenience store next door, and there are a few restaurants, shops and coffee places within walking distance. It's kind of in the middle between two metro stations, both are close enough to walk and it's easy to find. What made it especially nice for me where the little details, such as a lovely written note by the housekeeping staff adding some tips for the stay, or that the staff rushed over to help me setup the laundry machine and they even brought my self-service laundry to the room after the dryer was finished, so I could carry on with my day and not wait for it, so nice! I'd recommend this hotel if you're staying in Chengdu, and would definitely return if I'm in the area again.

If you want to stay in a hotel in Chengdu with basic facilities and good price, Lancheng Yuerong Food Culture Hotel is your choice. It is very easy to access the subway (so you can go around the city). It does not has a glory look decoration in the hotel lobby but provides all good basic hotel services. We enjoyed the friendly staff and the Chinese calligraphy practice facility in the lobby. It has exercise room but needs work to build it up. Regardless, we will definitely consider to stay in the hotel again for our next visit in Chengdu.

Loved this hotel! Location is great, near the subway, near Qintai Road to see the Sichuan opera and near Kuanzhai alley to take the shuttle bus to see the Panda Base. The room was very comfortable and clean. They gave me warm milk when I arrived and tang yuan (a chinese food) on my last night.

The hotel in itself is good. The rooms are clean, large and the beds and so on are good. It's over the road from an interesting museum but it's in a odd, unattractive situation, behind a row of old flats with low quality convenience shops at their base. Very odd for a 3/4 star star hotel. A few good, reasonably priced, local, restaurants if you turn left at McDonald on the corner. MD's icould be handy as well. On the down side, it's on the wrong side of town from the Panda park and quite a distance from the airport. However, we got a very good deal on the room which countered that. The major problem was with the service. When we arrived, they were halfway through giving us our room when they suddenly told us that the hotel was full. This was at 11pm and a family. They said we could go to another hotel and vaguely waved outside. We refused to go and I repeatedly showed them the booking confirmation from Trip.com and our green health codes. The manager arrived and discovered that they were not full and that they did have a room for us. It was now, very late. However, this was not the end. The next day we were asked for our passport again so they could once again check when we had last entered China, which was over a year ago. Then the next day they came to our room see us again. They walked me down to the hotels coffee bar and asked to use my data to talk to someone via WeChat, which I refused to do. Their hotel wifi didn't work and they were getting very actious. After eventually working out what the issue was I showed them my current work visa. They had photocopied an old one, not checking the date. Hence, a 1 for service as there aren't any negative numbers. I have never been treated so badly by a hotel and this is supposed to be a good one. I hope they reflect upon this an improve their training so this upsetting event does not occur again to anyone.

Absolutely love this hotel, so close to Tong Hui Men metro station and this is really convenient, too bad the restaurants next to the hotel are all closed probably hit due to the pandemic. There is a few convenience stores across the road for some snacks like crackers, biscuits, soft drinks etc. The staff at the front desk like Ella, Anna and everyone were so helpful. The hotel breakfast was also a good spread and delicious if you like Chinese food, there are some bread, fruits and pastries too!

The room was very nice and the desk staff are very approachable. They helped me call the cleaner when I noticed the toilet seat had not been cleaned. However later I also noticed a hair on a folded towel and other long hair left on the shower floor. It was not a thorough cleaning job but I do believe the rest was cleaned. I went to enjoy the hot spring, which needs a code for the women's door. But found out that the door was left open anyways and other guests were in the hot spring and using their phones. I wasn't comfortable to fully enjoy it because those rules are not followed. Also the shower area of the hot spring had a strong urine smell. It's really a beautiful hotel but needs more supervision or instruction for cleaning and hot spring rules. The snack bar looked really good and is open late.

This hotel was very accommodating and the staff was very attentive to our requests! The location itself is very convenient to get around the city as it’s close to stores, restaurants, etc. the bed was comfy, room was warm, shower had great water pressure and temperature, and the toilet was nice with a fancy bidet! Fantastic value for the price and highly recommended for future travelers.

I came to Chengdu with my boyfriend, so I booked a hotel in the city center. The price was not high for the hotel, but the cost performance of Chengdu really surprised me! 😝 1. The quilt sheets and pillowcases are all clean, 😍 and they seem to have been ironed. It really cures obsessive-compulsive disorder. I didn’t even change the disposable bedding I brought with me; 2. The smart toilet seat equipped in the bathroom is very considerate, 👏 and the corners are wiped very carefully; 3. The whole house is smart, I really love it. When I get up in the morning, ”Xiaodu Xiaodu, help me open the curtains.” The sun shines in and I feel good all day long~ In general, it is really good, and the service is thoughtful~ I recommend it to families traveling to Chengdu! 👍👍👍
