The Hydel Park

Location: The hotel is within walking distance (600Mts) from the Chennai Railway Station. A bit inside a lane, but not so difficult to locate it. Staff: They were very professional, gentle and courteous. Explaining each and every thing very transparently. The Receptionist especially Mr. Balu was just really very impressive. They were concerned about if the TV is running, its volume is satisfactory. More over it was IPL and initially, IPL was not coming in my room TV. Later, they arranged it. I was overhelmed. Food: They do not have any restaurant with in the premises. Since, there are lot ***y around this hotel, you can order food in the room. They will serve you without any extra cost. They have tied with two restaurants. Menu is also provided inside the room. The food is good. Cleanliness: I have no words to explain, it is just professional and very clean. Not only the room, but the entire hotel, the lobby area, the stairs, the reception area, entire hotel is kept at its best. Room: We booked one AC double deluxe room for two days. The room is having all the required day to day facilities. They even provided my shaving kit. It was very cozy and ambient.

Stayed in this hotel during our trip to Chennai. Located near the Chennai Central Railway Station (MAS) ,it offers a great connectivity to the rest of the City. The hotel is situated in a narrow lane around 100 mtrs from the Main road. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Hotel Staff are extremely polite and helpful. Room was quite neat and clean. Bathroom was also clean and well maintained. TV in the room has got lots of English and Hindi channels. They don’t have in house restaurant but they arrange food from nearby restaurants. The complimentary breakfast is arranged in a nearby hotel which is just 20-30 mtrs from the Hotel. B’fast spread was good. They have 24 hrs check out policy. They even allowed us to extend our stay by an 1 hour which I felt was a great gesture. I would love to stay in this hotel again in our next visit.

Incredibly helpful staff, well maintained bathrooms and room. Support was prompt and amenities were adequately provided. Only issue I had was that the bedsheet and blanket were a bit stained. However, the hotel is a good choice, overall.
