Holiday Inn Express CHENNAI OMR THORAIPAKKAM by IHG

It was a good trip and the hotel was good. But the food taste needs to be improved.

Simple and clean …best for elite budget travellers

Great location. Its nearby to IT parks. Great breakfast. Too friendly staff. There's gym you can use. Free water. Nice cool weather. Don't complain about the size of restrooms

Really Nice property and Very well Staff attitude and breakfast also good

This hotel is very average and does not live up to the Holiday Inn name. The rooms are very small, the bedsheets and pillows were dirty, and the overall cleanliness was poor. The bed was uncomfortable and the facilities were not up to the expected standard. I booked here because of the Holiday Inn brand, but the quality was very low compared to what the name suggests. Not recommended, especially for executive travelers.

One star given because Manager helped me with an issue for my Taxi payment, but other than that this hotel is not even 1 star hotel. I stayed in this hotel couple of years back. It used to be very clean and good hotel that time. But now it’s horrible. Room given was like a chicken container, Food was horrible. Sautéed vegetables and Upama had sand particles in it. Sambar was super spicy and idly was dry on edges. Dosa is made using machine, no fresh tea or coffee. If you want Tea/coffee, use the Nescafe machine kept there.  I will never book this hotel again. 👎

I think the room design, size, the shower cubicles, particularly the towels, bed sheets, pillows need improvement, the water was easily flowing out from the shower to the hallway, there was no extraction fan working in the toilet, looks like the builders have done a bad job in modifying the rooms to a hotel requirement, the paints on the walls were bad. The plus point is the food was fantastic and the hotel lobby design was descent. Sorry holiday in express it's not upto your brand quality compared across the world.
