It is a very nice and classy building attached to a beautiful church. We were there for a wedding and everything was perfect. It has a nice room for receptions and outside is lovely. There is an open parking place which is really convenient if one goes by car. The rooms are nice with a quite modern bathroom and a lovely decoration. The people from the front desk were super friendly. The breakfast was ok( it could have been better, but fine) For sure we will be back to visit the beautiful wine area and enjoy a second time a lovely stay.

Great location in a lovely town filled with fantastic restaurants. The exterior of the building and the grounds are impressive and well maintained. Inside one can literally feel history in the walls, although it is humid and a bit moldy. The room was large and clean, so was the bathroom. A minus is the carpet on the floor which I do not enjoy in a hotel room. Air conditioner was extremely noisy and did not work, making our room uncomfortably hot and humid. The pool area was lovely although there are a lot of bugs in the gardens. The big minus was the breakfast. the staff were very friendly, however they did not seem to be trained in proper food preparation. Tomatoes had not been washed, there was dirt on them. Cheeses and meats were not kept chilled, the eggs must have been boiled many days ago, when we ordered scrambled eggs and omelette they seemed to have been cooked in a pan that everything sticks to and burns. I was afraid to eat anything but toast with jelly. Due to the bad experience with breakfast we did not try the on-site restaurant for dinner. Snacks and drinks by the pool were fine.

This is the quietest, most peaceful and most noiseless hotel I have ever spent a weekend at. Beautifully surrounded, with a nice swimming pool, a magnificent hall for breakfast and really spacious rooms with a view that stretches out forever. All the staff is professional and helpful always trying to make you feel at home. A big thanks to Cristina and Roberto who take such good care of breakfast that you'd like to stay with them for a long time. Do not miss the chance to stay at the Somaschi. You won't regret it.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel Somaschi per un convegno e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Ringraziamo la signora Alessandra che ci ha seguito in ogni particolare e ci ha coccolati. Ottima struttura elegante e raccolta. Torneremo sicuramente per un soggiorno di puro relax.

Dormire nel luogo ove Michele Ferrero (un genio dell’Imprenditoria italiana) ha studiato in convitto, già di per se è una grande emozione. Il convento ex collegio oggi ristrutturato in Hotel è veramente carino. Stanza pulita confortevole e con lo charme di una cosa antica ma in gran ordine. Molto suggestivo il ristorante teatro ove abbiamo fatto una buona colazione. Ci avevano regalato un voucher e siamo molto contenti di averlo usato li. Torneremo

Siamo appena stati presso la dimora storica e devo dire che la struttura è molto bella e il giardino molto ben curato. Ma abbiamo riservato la suite stucchi patrimonio unesco molto bella ma impossibile dormire sul materasso durissimo e con le finestre senza tapparelle. Bagno veramente molto modesto. Ci siamo fatti cambiare stanza e anche nella nuova il materasso, più piccolo dello standard, seppur più confortevole del precedente non ci ha permesso di dormire. Le nostre figlie invece dormivano nella suite A e abbiamo riscontrato (come nella nostra stanza suite C) che mancava il topper sul materasso. Nella suite C qualche ragnatela di troppo e il frigorifero molto rumoroso hanno dato il loro contributo alla mancanza di sonno notturno. La colazione davvero scarsa, con prodotti industriali e nulla di espresso nonostante ci fosse la cucina, succhi di frutta in caraffa imbevibili.

Sono andato solo a mangiare e sinceramente mi sono trovato molto male... la location bellissima ma sul mangiare no... porzioni esigue e non soddisfacenti. I piatti non mi sono piaciuti . Quindi una delusione completa. Non penso di tornarci...
