Very warm welcome from all the staff. The service was very good as were the hotel facilities, however its interior garage was a little narrow. The breakfast food was very generous and very good.

Perfectly located for the Marina and to walk to the local cafes and restuarants. The staff were so helpful, accommodating, especially providing a 24hr reception. Clean and comfy rooms. The electric shutters didnt work reliably in my room but couldn't fault anything else. Would stay again.

The hôtel is centrally located. The room is big and clean. Staff is very kind and friendly and breakfast big and with lot if choices. Very good price and a very good choice for Cherbourg. You can walk in in the center of the city with a please by walk.

Chosen for it's nearness to the ferry terminal and very importantly a lockup garage for our bikes (we were on a cycling holiday) Hotel Louvre was very clean and the staff very helpful. It was also quiet although, no doubt being used as a stopover hotel I was aware of some early morning internal doors being opened and closed. The breakfast buffet was particularly wide ranging and sumptuous. The only minor disappointment was that there was no kettle in the room. There was a coffee maker but it would only function as such so no cup of tea possible!

Comfortable stay Spotlessly clean hotel. Room smelt fresh and had everything we needed. Only comment is that the door to the shower is quite small so if you're of a larger size, you may find it a bit of a struggle. Breakfast was outstanding - one of the best selections I've had in a french hotel, and good value for money.

Ideal place to stay. Comfortable, parking was right next door and the hotel is within walking distance of the centre of town. Room was small but had everything I needed. Breakfast was fine. I would recommend it for short stay visits, especially for anyone needing secure parking.

We stayed in this hotel as our base for a cycling weekend in Cherbourg and it did not disappoint. As we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown to the secure bike garage where we were able to lock up our bikes. The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished, everywhere looked clean, fresh and smart. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and the staff were always really friendly and attentive. The location of the hotel is good for getting everywhere you need to go in Cherbourg. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.
