"The pub its self is lovely but the accommodation needs a little tlc. We stayed in the main building. The mattress was too soft, I appreciate some people will be ok with that but in my opinion I think it just needs updating along with the pillows which were pretty non existent with no filling. The toilet seat needed fixing and the shower wasn’t great. It would just benefit from a bit of a makeover as it just looked a little tired. Cannot fault the staff they were all lovely along with a very welcoming pub. This was our second visit here but unfortunately we wont be returning."

"The room is pretty good, the bathroom is big, and the facilities are complete, but it is a bit noisy on the side of the road, and there is nothing nearby at night, so there is no big problem if you just stay overnight. The breakfast is rich, but the room we paid only has one breakfast, and the other is a bit expensive for 15 pounds. The service is okay, a bit away from the center of Oxford. A lot of people come here for dinner at night."

"Good breakfast, convenient parking, big bed in the room, everything is fine. We live on the 14th, far from the front desk, WiFi is too bad, almost no. The advantage is that I fell asleep after nine o'clock."

"This charming English manor-style hotel is full of history, elegance, beauty, and substance. Experiencing the comfort, coziness, tranquility, and romance here was truly unforgettable! The staff was incredibly attentive and helped me with my laundry, making three trips to the laundry room. The rooms are exquisite, and the breakfast is quite generous. I loved it."
