The lady on reception needs customer service training . Asked to take luggage into a room because we were early - then told by another lady abruptly - " Get out you shouldn't be in here" . There are ways of being asked to do things . Won't be returning.

We arrived at the hotel early tea time check in was seamless and the lady on reception was really helpful and polite she asked if we wanted to book a meal in the restaurant we was meeting friends so needed to find a time that suited us all so we said we would come back to reception The room was clean and the bathroom was clean, the bed was super comfy I do like the new cups in the room It was a lovely present stay we was only staying for 1 nite as we was catching up with friends will defiantly return to this hotel when we arrange to meet again

The hotel was pretty good, we went here with it being a good medium point to were we wanted to go. Great clean room and comfy bed, breakfast was okay and easy to get too. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and always happy to help. We would come again.

This hotel is our go to hotel when visiting family. The staff are fabulous and always remember us when we go. Due to family circumstances I travelled alone this time,but the staff made me feel so welcome and not alone. Rooms are always clean to a great standard considering it’s an older hotel. It’s always a great night sleep. The restaurant is attached, I would recommend booking a table for breakfast in advance as it can be very busy at weekends. Food is hot and fresh and plenty to choose from.

Not what I expected :(( I thought premier inn was known for great value and great customer service…..not at this hotel….staff I encountered were rude, abrupt and had no shame in talking out loud about other people (I am presuming other staff members)….you might want to be careful that your reception area is also open to guests to sit in. This means we can quite clearly hear staff members talking… With that said the rooms are in need of an update. Very noisy on the corridors at night. We had an issue with our room, the lady with a black bob (not wearing same uniform) was so sharp and blunt it made me feel so uncomfortable and that I was putting her out. Other than the above Oo it stay was ok, however will try other premier inns in the area next time
