BW Studios Thai Art Hotel (5 mins walk to Tha Phae Gate, Pets friendly)

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center. The lobby is situated behind a clothing store. The hotel rooms each have different paintings on the walls, which is a nice touch. There's a shared refrigerator (no mini-fridge in the room) and a piano. The room door was stiff and difficult to close, making it a struggle every time I went in or out. There's a late-night shop across the street, and the noise was bothersome until late at night. Room cleaning is only done upon request, and even then, it's not guaranteed daily. They communicate via LINE, but their responses are slow, so it's probably better to call them directly.

I'd recommend this place if you don't mind the facilities, cleanliness, and location. Be aware of the wobbly, rusty metal tables, dust everywhere, and a strange door that makes you question the security. Most importantly, it's right in front of a live club, so you'll have to sleep through very loud noise until the early hours of the morning.

The location is good, and it's a basic hotel. They offer single beds and private bathrooms. The fridge is in the common area on each floor. The wall-mounted hairdryer isn't very convenient, and the room is a bit too dim.

It was a bit difficult to find the entrance; it would be great if there was a bigger banner or sign. I was assigned to the 4th floor, and the sink wouldn't drain The shower water kept fluctuating between hot and cold, which was a surprise while showering. Overall, it was good value for money and clean. The location is definitely the best advantage!!

The room is spacious, and the bed is large and comfortable. The amenities are complete, and the price is truly reasonable. It offers excellent value for money, and I really enjoyed my stay here.

Everyone was really welcoming, and the bed was super comfy. There's a lively bar nearby, and I was worried about the noise, but it quieted down before 1 AM.

This was the best stay I've ever had! I actually forgot 300 RMB in my room and only realized it a few days later. I contacted the owner on Xiaohongshu, and guess what? The owner found it and WeChat-transferred it back to me. That's truly rare, especially when you're in a foreign country. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the old town. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, so all your food and drink needs are covered. Plus, there's this amazing, incredibly cheap hidden gem of a restaurant nearby – Thai milk tea for just a dollar or so, and beef soup for about two dollars. Huge thanks to the owner!
