Staff: Mostly friendly and professional, except few. I asked the female staff for early check-in and left my luggage at the designated place. Then, she said, “No, you have to wait until 14:00”. Immediately after her response, the male staff approached me and processed it. He also allowed me to change room without any charge and to store my luggage in the room, instead of the designated area. Room: For those who like 80s-90s vibe, this is for you, and me too. The AC is loud and cleaned. The ceiling, on the other hand, has strains from water. The curtain has a strain that looks like either blood or coffee. The wall looks unpolished, creating a running down impression of the hotel. The socket, TV, lift, and fridge are functional, fortunately. 2 bottles of water are set by the hotel standard. Please clean up those strains and walls. Bathroom: It contains dusts on the ventilation fan’s cover. There is mold strain on the wall that could be mistaken as black mold initially. Please clean up it as it could evolve to such in the future. Location: Not far away from the pubs, so music can get loud inside the room as it has poor soundproof. Unless you don’t mind the sound, or want to stay away from the city centre, go for it.

Nice hotel in the good locations of the big city of Thailand.

Some facilities are old. But this price has breakfast included. Can’t complain

Location: The hotel boasts its location that it is close to things but to be honest, yes, it was a short walk (less than 1km from the MAYA mall) and the nimman area… but the MAYA mall itself was pretty boring to walk in, can really do it in like an hour unless you’re really there for clothes shopping. There were alot more other hostels / hotels even closer and lots of them in Nimman so I don’t think this is one of the best to choose from. Also it was on a main road that most driver doesn’t want to do a U turn to get on to the same side to drop off (when doing join in tours) ALSO… a lot of the times when I wanted to just get a GRAB on the spot to somewhere - literally - NO DRIVERS accepts! I had to walk all the way to the Nimman area for someone to accept my booking. The only time it worked is when I booked one day in advance for pick up from hotel to airport.  Hotel facilities: Restaurants: apart from the dining hall that opens for the buffet breakfast (6-10am) (breakfast was also very basic) + they have another lunch round from 11:30-2pm, nothing else is available at the hotel, no room service, nothing. There is a Japanese restaurant and a cafe on site that looks like it has been closed forever.  The gym and swimming pool is only available from 7am-8pm which isn’t exactly the best timings for guests. Some of us would like to start our day with the gym then go for the breakfast, you can’t exactly go to the gym then do breakfast because by the time you finished at the gym, only leftovers at the breakfast. So I hardly saw anyone using these.  The elevator is also small and slow.  Carpets in the hall way looks old and dirty.  Room: I’m really disappointed because there is a bathtub but the plug thing that stops water running down the drain doesn’t actually covers the entire hole so I was never able to use the bath tub. One night out of my 5 nights, the ceiling was leaking in the bathroom at around 10pm, at that time, I was in a bathrobe and eating fruits but wanted to inform the reception so I tried using the phone in room… IT DOESNT WORK! So I had to go all the way down from 7th floor to let them know. They asked me to go back to my room and wait for technician, after like 10 mins, he came and passed me a note that reads do not let water get out of the bathtub! I was quite angry because THE CEILING WAS LEAKING also, no matter how well I try to shower (with the shower curtains closed the water still managed to escape!) I was so sick and tired of it… seems like the design of the bathtub just ain’t great, you really got to see it in order to really understand my situation.  TV in room.. everything was in Thai and I couldn’t even change the channels so I was never able to watch h TV.  Housekeeping is really not up to standard, a lot of the time, the bed doesn’t look like it was done properly…  Overall, a disappointing stay, I wouldn’t recommend and I wouldn’t stay again.

I stay in chiangmai hill hotel everytime when I visit chiangmai. This hotel is very good price and have many promotion. Location is nealy city, maya center, shop, 7-11, and comfortable to journey

Great location, walking to Maya shopping centre and One Nimman night market, was under 7 mins.

The location is truly convenient, and considering the area, the price offers excellent value for money.

This hotel is located on Kuay kaew Road, is very good. location, the building probably more than 20 yrs old, but the room is still functioning, and also, reasonable price, I paid around 25$ for 1 night, including the buffet breakfast, staff are friend have TV.with multiple internationl highly recommended for solo traveling.

The place, location, nice staff. I enjoyed staying here!

Terrible run down hotel don’t ever book a compact room there disgusting size of a bed and that’s about it window so small and never been cleaned since building opened I think I don’t normally write reviews but thought I would this time I moved rooms immediately pool area ok but that’s about it 5 beds for 250 rooms

Big hotel with all facilities, lots of parking and near to Maya mall. Nice pool area good for kids.

We stayed for 4 nights. The staffs are nice and friendly with no doubt. The breakfast was acceptable. It’s not easy to get a Grab and would have to wait quite a while. The only complaint I have would be the long due to upgrade their facilities. It was built in 1987 and need a major refurbishing. A lot of gym equipment already not functioning and including showering facilities. There are a lot group using the hotel and should have fund for the upgrade project. Overall stay was acceptable with reasonable price if you don’t mind an outdated place!
