Good location, 400 m walk to the sea or can called for buggy services, variety menu of Breakfast.

The room was spacious and well-equipped with amenities like a kettle and hairdryer. The hallways were clean and fragrant. There's a 24-hour reception, and the property has an elevator. Downstairs, they sell snacks and essential items. If you don't feel like going out, you can order food and drinks to your room. The prices are reasonable. Breakfast is served in the morning and tastes good, with a decent variety. It mainly consists of chicken congee, coffee, Ovaltine, orange juice, and toast with various jams and butter. There are also cookies and savory crackers. Another dish rotates daily, such as egg fried rice, stir-fried noodles, or stir-fried macaroni.

Booked the day of arrival, about 20 minutes before getting to the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very quick to process the information. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. In the morning, there was congee available for breakfast.

The room was very clean and the location was pretty good. There was also ample parking.

The room was clean and tidy. The soundproofing might be just average, but as someone who wakes up easily, I didn't find it to be a big problem. The hotel's location is suitable for those traveling by car, as there isn't much around. There's a laundry facility at the hotel, which is very convenient. We didn't book breakfast, but it felt like the hotel offered it for free, even though it was just simple fried rice and bread. It's a good option for tourists who don't have time to eat breakfast outside.

This hotel is amazing! Every time I visit Chiang Mai, I stay here. It has everything I need, especially the rubber tile flooring – it's so comfortable even sleeping on the floor.

I've stayed here many times and I'm always impressed, both with the staff and the rooms.

The hotel is basic but has everything one needs for a short stay - Aircon, king sized bed and nice hotel staff and a friendly cat to welcome you! Within short walking distance, there are a couple of local restos.

A good hotel away from the city center, the room is comfortable and large. The internet is poor, almost nonexistent. There is practically nothing for breakfast. But we made do with coffee and toast.

Donchan Grand offers great value for money. Everything was satisfactory for me, except that the room was not soundproof at all.
