Loyy Hotel

This hotel is very affordable for my 3 nights stay in Chiang Mai. I like the location as there's a nearby 7 Eleven, walking distance to night market & Phae Gate. Easy to pin location on your e-hailing service apps. Another plus point, its only 15 mins away from the airport by car. The hotel room is simple, and complete with basic amenities. Acceptable cleanliness and the toilet works all fine. There's a pantry at the lobby & chill area (net) at level 2, where you can take photos or just relax. Overall, its worth the money 👌🏻

The service was excellent and the facilities efficient. But I didn't eat at the hotel, so I have no opinion.

The hotel is modern, clean, and located in a convenient spot — just a short walk to Tha Phae Gate and the old city attractions plus the Night Bazaar. The *room was compact but thoughtfully designed*, with comfortable beds, good lighting, and all basic amenities provided. The *bathroom was clean and functional*, with strong water pressure and hot water. . One small downside: there is clear window without any curtain or shape. Overall, *Loyy Hotel is a great value for the price* — ideal for solo travelers, couples, or friends and families.

Very disappointed! Unlike the photos, the place is in very poor condition — dirty, broken, old, rusty, and worn out. The shared kitchen is not very clean. Guests don’t properly wash the dishes they use. The trash bin was full of flies and smelled awful, like rotten food… The women’s shared bathroom on the 8th floor was disgusting! Toilets were clogged with poop, toilet paper, and even vomit in another one! The showers were full of empty toiletry bottles left by guests. Lots of hair blocking the drain, broken showerheads… The shower mats were brown with grease and mold. Hair everywhere — on the floor, in the sinks… No space to put your belongings (toiletry bag, towel, etc.), and the layout is not functional. No private area to change clothes or get into pajamas… It’s clear that many guests don’t respect the place, but it’s also obvious that the facilities are not cleaned regularly or thoroughly. The staff doesn’t seem to care about the broken showers or overall hygiene. The morning receptionist was kind and friendly! However, the evening receptionist was very careless… it was obvious she didn’t want to be there, giving the impression that she didn’t care at all about the guests.
