Good location for me. I have always stayed at this hotel when in Chiang Mai for my cycling trip. Staff are very friendly and attentive. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation. Will have a new hotel look by November 2026 (as communicated). Plenty of bars and massages around the place. Very near to Thapae Gate and Sunday Night Market. Price is definitely a plus point.

We love this hotel and this is our 3rd stay. Perfect location and the pool is lovely 🥰 . The Welcome Inn next door is an added bonus as the food is delicious 😋

The hotel is located in the middle of a entertainment strip, which made walking around uncomfortable. The room facing the street was very noisy and sleeping without earplugs was impossible. The pool was across the street and had a separate children's area and a platform, both of which were easy to miss because the entire pool was tiled in black. It would be easy to get injured here. Breakfast was predominantly Thai, and the coffee didn't taste good. Overall, it was rather disappointing.

Great location, literally a stone’s throw from the old city. The pool was pretty nice and got sun until about 4:30-ish, which was perfect for a lazy afternoon. Rooms, however, are connected by those old-school family doors, and the soundproofing is… nonexistent. I could literally hear my neighbours fart.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of choice (both western and asian). Location was perfect. A lot of bars, restaurants and massage places nearby. Will definitely come again.

A little overpriced for the comfort level, the beds were ridiculously hard, and my ribs hurt for days, almost like sleeping on the floor.

Room is nice, good breakfast, good parking, very nice and friendly staff, big shower room. It can be better to change the TV to a smart TV.

Good hotel for a stay close to inner city. Restaurants close by.

Not so bad hotel

We are very happy staying at Raming Lodge Hotel. It provides good services, good breakfast, good location, free airport pickup and drop-off, and staff are friendly and happy. We enjoyed the swimming pool and didn't mind to walk a few steps from the hotel to it's opposite compound. It's located near the Old City where you can tailor make suits, dresses and tuxedos from Paul Melano, near to several markets and night markets, massage parlours, temples... If we come back to Chiang Mai again for sure this hotel will be our first choice and Paul Melano to tailor make more suits and dresses!
