Thapae Place Hotel

This is arguably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, having traveled to many regions and countries. I stayed in a family room. Here are the downsides: (1) The bedding had obvious stains – the kind that have been there for years and can't be washed out. When I pulled back the duvet, the sheets underneath also looked very dirty. I couldn't bring myself to lie down, so I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet all night. (2) The long table beneath the TV had visible grease stains. It was truly disgusting. (3) The hotel facilities were extremely old. Showering was uncomfortable, and the toilet barely flushed. (4) The indoor lighting was incredibly dim. Even with all the lights on, the room felt yellow and oppressive all night – the brightest spot in the entire room was the bathroom light. (5) The front office manager spoke English, which was good. However, her demeanor and attitude when speaking to people were very off-putting. A strange arrogance? It was truly odd. I can't even describe it; it was incomprehensible. Pros: Very close walking distance to Tha Phae Gate in the old city, and the room was spacious. Summary: This is a hotel I will absolutely never return to. It's the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Regardless of the price, there are so many things they could have done better or improved upon.

Easy to book and extend stay, very professional booking experience through the app. Breakfast is the same every day but still offers variety for the price. Close to Wat Buppharam and Thapae Road, which is convenient.

This hotel offers great value for money! The room was huge, the air conditioning was strong, and it was very clean. The breakfast was incredibly rich and affordable, only 90 per person paid on-site. The extra two pillows per person were a nice touch. The only downsides were the low water pressure in the bathroom, no shower curtain, and no toothbrushes provided.

Centrally located, offers breakfast for 90 baht. Easy to walk around the city, close to Wat Buppharam and Warorot Market (Kad Luang).

The location is super convenient, with many attractions nearby and within easy reach. The room is spacious, and there are plenty of great food options in the vicinity. Even though the weather was hot during my visit, the hotel's air conditioning was excellent. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.
