The location is great. Although the booking said no breakfast, they actually offer a simple breakfast with toast, fried eggs, fruit, coffee, and tea, which was more than enough. The reception staff were also very welcoming. It's a highly cost-effective place to stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Chiang Rai. The location is excellent, close to the Night Market and within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any request. Breakfast was included and provided a good variety of options to start the day. Overall, a very pleasant experience with great service and a convenient location. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Rai.

The room was clean, which is what I always look for when booking! However... What was under the sheet was the problem... There were brown like marks on the pillows (under the pillow cases) & the mattress protector (under the sheet). I would suggest buying new pillows and a mattress protector as they look very old. Other than that the staff were friendly the eggs and toast were nice. Oh and they've free hot or cold water too!

Cool hotel. Great location: relatively central, yet on a very quiet street. You can't hear any cars at all. In the mornings, you can faintly hear the neighbor's roosters crowing :) The room has a balcony. The room fully matches the description. I highly and warmly recommend it.

A pleasant surprise for us at Baan Malai. It's stated no breakfast included but they did prepare toast with jam or honey,coffee plus eggs on request. Location is good too.

Very convenient location. Very spacious room. It had all the needed amenities (even an extra spare bed; I assume it was “family friendly”). Staff was friendly and whatnot but definitely wasn’t manning the front desk as when we arrived to check in (approximately 11:30 am) there was no-one at the reception and we had to wait for 15-20 min for someone to show up.
