Chiang Rai Tha Sai Hotels

The bed was very comfortable, the shower also. Big room. Breakfast had good variety of food, not very much for european taste but o.k. There was a lot of noise from a festival outside. The hotel is a little bit old fashioned. Stuff were very nice and helpfull.

The room price is fixed at 550 THB - but Trip’s price is way more expensive than booking directly with the hotel. I tried to request for Trip price guaranteed but didn’t work. So … booking directly with the hotel is best!

Clean, staffs are friendly to guests Good service, will go back to stay when I have a chance, recommended.

Overall, it's very good. The food is delicious. The Connect Family rooms are good, clean, and most importantly, not expensive. At Baan Kom Mak, I slept for 3 nights in a row. Booked through Trop.com for a very cheap price.

The pillows are soft but the mattress is very hard. May be suitable for elderly people who like hard mattresses. If the light in the room is too bright, there should be a bedside lamp as well. And if you can use a hair dryer, that would be great.

Convenient transportation, clean and sanitary.

Think of this hotel, I will think of its location first. As it is located in the heart of Chiang rai City. So convenient for everything. Just cross the road, I can explore a very beautiful northern style temple . Nice local market is just 3 blocks away. Several famous old restaurants in a walking distance too. The hotel itself is nice and clean. Breakfast that I almost skip to get good food outside is good. It was not a buffet though. I got a small menu to choose when checking in.

A good hotel for a short trip to Chiang Rai. The location was great for me, in the very center of the city, and 10 minutes walk from the bus station. I went from Chiang Mai by bus and walked to the hotel. In 6 hours I walked around 5 temples in the city and got to the blue one by bike. There are all the shower accessories, a kettle and compliments for coffee / tea, a hairdryer, a large bed. And all this is relatively inexpensive.
