A pretty standard experience overall. Breakfast options were limited, and the room cleanliness was acceptable. Parking outside was a bit tight, requiring a 3-5 minute walk. It's about a 30-minute drive to the Cultural Night Market.

Breakfast wasn't bad, but the food was very cold. The room was a decent size with outdated facilities, and a significant drawback was how clearly I could hear everything from the next room, which made for a very unpleasant and uncomfortable night.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, making our stay truly enjoyable. The room was spacious and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our visit. We also really enjoyed the hotel breakfast—it was delicious and offered a great start to the day. On top of that, the hotel provides complimentary parking for guests, which was a very convenient bonus for us.

Highly recommended! The environment is comfortable, and the breakfast is thoughtfully prepared with many local Chiayi delicacies. The price is reasonable, and the room is very clean. It's an elegant, old hotel that offers parking and friendly service. I'll definitely come again next time!

The price is reasonable. Parking is first-come, first-served, so it's best to arrive around 3 or 4 PM.

The Guanko Hotel in Chiayi is quite convenient if you're driving, with parking easily available right at the hotel entrance and nearby. The hotel lobby is spacious and bright. The rooms are large and clean; although the hotel has been around for a while, it's still comfortable. It's only a 6-minute drive to the Wenhua Night Market, and getting to other places is also very convenient. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast offers a good variety and tastes great.

The service attitude was excellent; they were very proactive in helping with everything. Parking was a bit tricky right at the hotel entrance, so we had to use their partner parking lot, which wasn't too far. The hotel itself is pretty standard, not luxurious, and the facilities are a bit dated, but it was still clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the soundproofing between floors wasn't great. Kids running and jumping upstairs sounded like an earthquake all night, and we could also hear noise from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast was a buffet with limited options, pretty much standard fare, but they did have some local specialties like chicken rice and Danzai noodles. Overall, for the price, it was decent value for money, especially if you can overlook the noise issues I mentioned.

Stayed for 2 nights and everything seems ok except the wifi is poor. There is a laundry room on the 8th floor with 2 washers and 2 dryers. You can get free detergent from the lobby but both the washer and dryer need to pay : NT50 for the washer and NT50 for the dryer. Breakfast was ok.
