Hotel is located a little far from everything and walk about 15mins to railway station and 10 mins to free hsr shuttle bus stop. Around the hotel, there's multiple nice food too. Room is ok, decently big but signs of old wear and tear. Breakfast is good sumptuous value spread.

Although it's an older hotel, it's well-maintained. It has two main halls, the second of which is newer. The front desk service is also very good, and they're always happy to assist with any questions. However, the soundproofing is a bit lacking, and children's noises can be heard at night.

This hotel is located in downtown Chiayi. We originally planned to visit the night market in the evening and hike Alishan the next morning. The breakfast at this hotel was delicious, the hotel staff were very friendly, and the soundproofing was good. The only problem was that the parking lot was a little limited, so you had to check in early to find a parking spot. Otherwise, there was nothing to complain about!
